He didn't want to agree to something he didn't understand without more information.

Tina bounced up to her feet at the mention of having a sword through her chest. She already had a fresh scar there, no worries on that, but she wondered what else could come of it.
She was totally down, nodding vigorously as she semi-hopped from one foot to the other.

She rose from her stance. She wasnt good with swords but she was no doubt wanting for strength. Who actually knows what might come from her she was willing and able with out hesitation.

Stevie shifted in her seat. She was always down for a good fight. Though there was an issue: she was nowhere near the strongest. She would look at the man complaining of cheaters.
“They cheat, we kill them. Simple as that. Only cowards cheat.”
Stevie mumbled.

Rozalin nodded, straightening as Asiv mentioned another risk. She was a pirate; she lived with risk. Capture, death, never mind someone else deciding they needed slaves. She was already free of Cabal; this could be a parting "gift" if nothing else.
She'd wait for the answer before making her decision, however. As much as risk was involved, being a shell woudln't do her anything good, either.

Avice walked in late but she was in time to hear Asiv's proposal. She felt a quiver in her Qi something in her resonated with his words. She'd walk forward and not think on it farther.

Bailey refused to answer until Asiv responded to Preston's question, a rush of turmoil flitting around in her head as she debated her options. She could end up an empty shell of herself, sure, but what about the chaos inside of her? What if that made things worse? Would it hurt those around her, or just herself? Would she be gone, but the chaos in her place?
She rubbed her hands against her skirt with a sigh, waiting and trying to ignore the throbbing in her temples at the thought.

Elias has stayed silent this whole time, contemplating. On the one hand, this sounded like possibly some sort of one versus one tournament, which wasn't his strong suit.
On the other, it was a chance to improve.
He shrugs.

Krane thought on the answer he got. Sounded like Glory he could win for himself, something for Krane and not the Kraken. Promotions within Cabal. He cared little for the risk at this point.
