"I prefer long range but if I have to get close I'd rather it be stealthy and quick to take out my opponents. Crowd control is also not my specialty if I am facing more than one opponent then I might be in trouble as I lack the strength." she picked up amd fiddled with a curl looking more and more guilty admitting what she was about to say. "I was too afraid to get in the heat of any battle. Facing a blade was just as painful as getting rejected by the boy you like, in my eye." she straightened her stance and put her hands on her hips. "I am... At least I am trying to change that. So compared to the both of you I am not that experienced or strong, but I'll get there no doubt."
She realized and feared that might have been a bit too winded and her eyes shifted, not that they might be able to tell being solid golden orbs, looking away from them head turning a more obvious sideways Nd lips pressing in a wide and thin line. She felt a bit silly and a bit embarrassed

Ali nodded in approval at Oni's explanation, expression easing.
"Fair. There are some who work better with visuals, after all." She could remember clearly how Oni struggled with a two-handed blade and tried to work with a spear. "It sounds like you may be able to cover where our reach can't, or cover our blind sides."
It was very much a tangnt they got in returned. Ali blinked once, looking at Stevie, then back to Oni with a nod.
"Everyone starts somewhere. You are here; you are choosing to move forward instead of staying stagnant. That is something we can all work with."

Stevie nodded and attempted a reassuring smile. While she DID care about Oni, the only way the teifling would be able to overcome her shootings would be to just get to it.
“Yes, yes. Let us begin.”
She tried to sound patient but eager. Did it work? Stevie hoped so.
”What have you put together so far?”
It May help, worth a shot at least.

"Great if we had to stealth it out it seems we've gotten that covered easy. Facing someone head on if one of us preferably the two of you then the other two with the range can go from other sides or blind spots. Otherwise that is all I have." she rolled her shoulders. "But yes lets get started and it will add to show what we are capable of."

"Agreed." Ali would summon her keyblade, the soft rain of feathers forming from the same light the key itself came from as they settled around her. The redhead didn't seem to pay attention to them this time. Whatever strategy they came up with would only be good in theory until they tested it.
"How would you like to start? Perhaps Stevie can offer targets with her water abilities?"

Oni summoned her blade as well and the curved tip fell to the ground with a heavy thump. She exhaled a curl from her face regretting this already.
Attack: 20
Defense: 23
Speed: 15
Perception: 20
Energy: 22
But now or never it was and she had to learn to use it quickly.
Oni: Dependent Blade - Oni's heart is filled with uncertainty and fear. Depending heavily on others to make up for what she imagines she lacks turns the Blade of her Heart into a curved broad sword requiring two hands to use. Oni's blade gains +4 Atk and +4 Def for every ally around her to a maximum of +12 Atk, +12 Def.

Stevie grinned. Finally.
“Yes, I can do targets. Simple.”
She summoned her blade as well as pulled a large lob of water up and separated it into 7 targets scattered around.
Stevie: Determined Whiplash - Stevies heart is filled with stubborn and prideful determination. Underlying anger and urge to harm others fills The Blade of her Heart with a Festering sting. Doing 1/2 her energy in damage for four rounds following a successful hit.
1. Hydro-Kenesis
Stevie is able to move any form of water at will. Stevie creates a ball and throws it at an enemy adding 1/2 energy to her attack stat in damage.

"With a nod of approval to Stevie, Ali started to lash out at hte nearest target, but frowned at the obvious struggle Oni had with hers. The girl had mentioned being more comfortable with lighter, ranged weapons. the stark contrast showed still.
"Is it any easier to wild in your other form?" she asked with a frown, striking the nearest water target with her blade while waiting for a response. She didn't care if the water splashed on her in return, assuming Stevie would either re-form it to continue the testing or possibly try to counter with one.
"Kek!"

"Not rea-- OOH! That's c-cold!" She would exclaim as water splashed on her from Ali's attack spewing across the field.
Suppose it helped a little but she felt that it might be too cumbersome to deal with it and the wings. She did some homework and would have grasped a certain concept on how to use this dual handed blade. It was not practical like a usual sword and in no way sould be treated the same. Slicing and stabbing was useless. While swinging it more like a bludgeoning weapon she understood its weight was its most dangerous asset and swinging it with little effort would still do incredible damage. Simply put; once this thing starts flying it is going to hurt reguardless. The blade is just a wedge into all in its path.

Stevie lost concentration as Ali mentioned Oni could shift form. This, unfortunately, resulted in Oni getting splashed. Stevie apologized through giggles and put the targets back up.
“Sorry! Alright, let’s try that again. Oni, you hit this time. After we /get the swing of things/ we’ll try moving targets.”
It was a great plan, right?
OOC: each target will take 40 DMG before it bursts.

She needed to improve. Frowning, Ali would take a step back from the watery target and turn her attention to the other two, nodding at Stevie's encouragement and instruction.
"Sounds good." It was a good plan. If they weren't able to handle the basics, moving forward would be pointless.

Oni let out a nervous giggle and silenced it as she felt a bit embarrassed with her performance.
She rolled her shoulders and placed both hands on her blade widely spread on the handle. Once Stevie-rae's target was up Oni made her move.
As sje approached it she brought the blade behind her and step forward to swing it from an upward angle. Te curve of the blade was pointed in the right direction as it bashed through the water target. She grunted sending it over her head. Her hand switched from the top of the hilt too he bottom keeping the other nearer too he middle and slammed it down more vertically than the first swing. Halting its momentum going up to bring it down was almost difficult and she had to adjust her footing to keep from falling over in the process.

The bubble would shift and form into two separate water bubbles, though neither would break.
“Good job. I like that swing, kind of a forward-but-oh-no-here-I-come-again attack. I mean, I sure didn’t see that one coming. Practice that one more. Ali, hit that one by the tree. Let’s see what you got. Maybe try a surprise move like Oni’s.”
Stevie would stand there, concentrating on the orbs of water.

Was she really giving her orders? Really? Alison turned to give Stevie an unimpressed look, lips pressing into a thin line as she barely held back the need to speak her mind to the other girl. Encouragement was one thing, dictating movements, another. "I assume you will be---" She stopped, eyes narrowing at the look in her partner's eyes. Watching them, but also distant. Focused. Her eyes scanned the field and the various targets that were set about before rolling her shoulders with a sigh. She struck at the noted target, stepping forward with the blade in hand as she cut up the bubble at a diagonal, then spun and hurled herself at Stevie, instead, striking at her with the "teeth" of her blade.
"--getting rid of the impression that you are in command of this squad."

Oni's eyes widened and she spun tossing the huge blade before Stevie-rae and letting it carry her feet barely on the ground! She practically flew.
The blade struck and stuck itself in the ground before Stevie-rae Oni leaping behind it.
Blocking Ali's strike, the tiefling was a bit surprised it happened. She only thought first. Perhaps she is keeping some of her "courage" from her previous prayer. But it wasnt from power this time... It was her own. Oni looked at Ali from striking her blow.
"Don't be like that..." her voice was low and her gaze showed a bit of fear yes but fear in careing. Oni will not enjoy taking fight to one she hoped could be a companion. "Do you want to win or make enemies of those who may be your only chance to do so?"
