Off to The Races! (Territory Exam Round 1)

"Good afternoon." Ali raised her hand in a brief greeting as the brunette approached her, a glimmer of excitement in the redhead's eye at the challenge to come.

"You ready for this?" She looked over and extended the gesture to Oni, who was joining in!

[Melanie Ross]

Melanie took the extra time to stretch more, taking Kranes silence as a hint to ready herself.

“Right. Ready first. Talk later.”

Stretch... stretch... breathe... relax... ok.

[Stevie-Rae]

Stevie threw her head back in a laugh.

“Are you serious! I LIVE FOR THIS!”

She was REALLY excited! Stevie held up her hands for high fives with her girls.

“Let’s try our best out there, ladies! Everyone helps out eachother. Well all make it or no one crosses. Got it?”

She was still grinning and hoped her electric mood sparked through the others.

"Wouldn't that slow you down?"

Lann asks, frowning, before suddenly shaking his head.

"Sorry, I don't mean to doubt you. I just... you know..."

[Kaia Galanos]

"Carry me. I have developed a new potion that could help us." she says, turning to look at the guys and lowering her voice.

"But it doesn't last long so we should only use it when we really need to."

Or to show off if they happen to be ahead.

"The power of our friendship will give me strength!"

He'd hold out his hand for a highfive!

Lann hops for the high five!

Rhona found John and would nudge him to follow her. She was informed they had a new mate and she would like to meet the kid who's been making quite an explosion amongst Cabal. She'd fit very well with Rhona and John, or so Rhona would predict.

Plopping herself next to Tina. "Yo. I'm Rhona, Rhona Hall, and I don't know if you've met John Summers but..." she shrugged casually. "Lets light up this race, yeah?" A slight grin on her face for a very bro-esqu introduction

[Zack Asiv]

"To your marks!"

Asiv would yell out for people to get ready and in place. Once there he would raise a hand to the sky and a huge monstrous explosion would go off in a big puff ball of fire and smoke, the concussive force enough to shake the very ground, the flash of light hard to watch!

Everyone -5 Perception for this round.

Those with less than 40 in Atk will fall down from the shockwave and wind.

After finally getting up to run, or those that took off running would come across the first obstacle! Apparently there is a rather pissed off looking shatter shot of quicksand traps all around the floor, in huge whirlpools of sand! (To make it passed this trap you must have at least a 20 in Perception. If you fail it you are stuck in the trap. To be saved the person saving you has to have an ATK of over 30. Else you are stuck in the trap for one round before being swallowed completely and are out of the race!)

[Tina Bennet]

"Yo!"  Tina gives a fervent wave, eyes lighting up with mischief as she meets someone older AND SHORTER than her!!  Maybe miracles really do happen!  Only there's no time to contemplate it, because the race starts!

"It's so shiny I'm gonna die!!!" For a brief second, Tina is an explosion of delighted fangirl! It doesn't phase her that the blast just kind of, you know, blinded her a bit.  Or that she hit the ground liek a sack fo potatoes.  She was determined to catch back up with the others and remind them how awesome she is!

She starts after the race, taking the time to blow up a non-Cabal racer, intending to blast them into one of the sand traps!

Even though it meant getting sucked in herself, it's worth it.

Zero Ability: Tina is able to charge an object and make it EXPLODE! 1/4 Energy stat damage is added to her attack if exploded that post or 1/2 energy explosion if it explodes the next post (1/4 blast)

Tina's Bloodline!: Tina is capable of adding Radiation to her explosions. She can make clean or full on fallout blizzard scales of radiation. Clean radiations adds +25 to damage calculations of her bombs. Nuclear Fallout causes 1/2 her energy in damage to anyone in the area of 20 ft of the explosion for four posts. (Clean Radiation)

Faye kinda goes for it too but she's small and slow and maybe uncoordinated because it just kinda swishes below Lann and Cael's hands about five seconds too late.

On the plus side she gave the air one hell of a not very impressive slap.

One of the first ones to break through she was already above the masses. When that gust of wind came her eyes turned red and her body leaped forward with hard speed and attacked with a force nessisary to slip right through the winds.

When she came to the mine field it was no problem either. Even with the debuff she would go through it no problem. Could any of her Prota mate(s) say the same?

Head: Helm of the Knights Cross (+5 defense) - This helmet seems light, and despite it's entirely metallic front, once worn it's entirely see through. Once per thread, Avice may totally ignore an attack on her. She completely disregards damage, Qi, and any other attack type, a simple shimmering shield forming over her body. ower Tattoo [ADD-ON]: This tattoo glows when needed adding +5 to a chosen stat. If there are any other Power Tattoo's in a thread they also activate. The Tattoos connect and add all bonuses to each other. (If one person activates it and gets +5 Atk, it activates someone elses tattoo, they choose +5 Spd, both get +5 Atk and +5 Spd.)

Hands: kyber armor- inbeud in the armor of her left palm is a Kyber Crystal (weapon add on): +4 ENG. The Kyber Crystal focuses and concentrates energy from the user. Turning a weapons damage into Qi or Energy based elemental damage. The Kyber Crystal is activated and lasts four posts. It's color changes depending on the person using it. + Scorpion Carapace: This inlay armor can be added to any item giving that item +5 Def.

Legs: Anarchists Pants: +1 to all stats
Ability: On activation, increase wearers speed by 1/2 energy for thread. May be used once per thread.

Feet: left leg armor imbued with diamond of a thousand roughs (Ability 2: Diamond of a Thousand roughs, MYTHIC ITEM **May not be upgraded, traded or sold** - Avice finds herself connecting with the diamond on an intense level, and would feel like she jumped into a pool of untold amounts of energy. Avice has a pool of 1000 energy stored within the stone. Once per post, Avice may take up to her energy from this stone, stacking it on top of her own energy. She may also pass on a Qi use, adding 1/2 her energy into the stone up to 1,000 max energy. Once per thread, she may take 300 energy and heal herself fully with it.)

Misc: Golden egg.

Misc: "I bet you have" pistol - Avice gets an energy pistol that, when gripping the hilt, allows her to infuse her energy into the weapon and fire energy bolts at her enemies up to her energy in damage.

Special: Prota Crystal: Tritail's Soul Lvl 1
The crystal holds the battle armor of Tritails a three tailed Alpha Qi Beast Avice defeated. Gives access to Tritail's powers and battle armor. Avice can maintain the Battle Armor of Tritails for 3 posts at Lvl 1.
-Energy Claws: While in Tritails battle form Avice is able to use Tritails Energy Nails like slashing blades shooting slashing beams of energy doing her energy in damage +25%.

The high five they experienced would ring out with justice and goodness as he lowered himself to let his team climb onto his back before the race started. Their friendship would fuel them and lead the way to victory. His knuckles flashed with light as his heart knuckles came into being. His heart reaching out to touch Rose before the race began. As they got ready he'd channel his inner spirit, his body glowing with an intense aura as his expression darkened ready to begin. A lot was riding on this, and Supervisor Sudeki had been clear that the objective was not only to win, but to stop the other academy teams from finishing when possible. It was all part of the event.

When the blast rocked the area Cael was one of the ones still standing, his team with him as he bolted off with the head of the pack. Passing most of the people from Cabal, if not all. Though among the frontrunners were a few of the Prota soldiers. With a grunt he'd spread his arms as he passed by them with the intention of knocking both Avice and Arceneus into the quicksand!

Cael's Def rises +1 every post in a thread to a max of +10. 4/10

Not the Beeeees! - If Cael, Lann or Faye hi-five at any time during a fight or battle, they all get a +3 bonus to attack. May only happen once per thread.

Cael's physical non Qi based attacks do +12 dmg

Bladed Knuckles - Caelan's heart reaches the heart of others easily. Therefore the blade of his heart is made up of the energy an ally is lacking. Bladed Knuckles give +18 to whatever stat is Target Allies lowest stat. Can be used on himself if there are no allies. Costs one UP to activate for the thread. +18 Perception to Rose

0 Level - (Inner Strength) Caelan can add 125% of his energy to his attack stat and 125% of his Perception to his Defense stat for one post.

Level 1 - (Killer Focus) Cael adds 75% his Strength to his speed and 75% his speed to his strength (Both calculations are done before the buff is added to them from this ability)

Well that was an enthusiastic explosion. Ali was knocked to the ground by the force, catching herself on the way down, she waited a second for her vision to clear, but the dark spots continued to dot her vision as she went. Her foot slid along the edge of the sand trap, getting sucked down as her balance was thrown.

"Kek!" Ali would pull herself out as she channeled her energy, taking a brief second to check on her teammates as she pulled herself up to her feet.
