Break Time (Open/T-63 Charas)

[Katsu]

“Good.”

Katsu nods.

“Once you get proficient enough, you can do even more with a sword. Want to see?”

"With utmost certainty." That was a yes to his question by the way.

[Katsu]

Katsu holds out his hand to take his sword back from Lucky, then provided she gives it to him, takes several steps back.

“I’ll show you how to cut energy, itself.”

He glances at Yanmei.

“Mei-Mei, if you could?”

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei gives a yawn then raises a finger, creating an orb that she then launches at Katsu.

“Order up.”

She handed the sword back and quickly for Yanmei wasted no time. Lucky her self after doing so took a step or two... or five backward.

[Katsu]

Katsu swipes downwards, fully intending on cutting that orb in half.

However, he flinches slightly from the injury he'd taken during the invasion, and part of the energy goes spiraling towards Lucky!

Having given back his sword she had not but her wrapped arms to block the blow. It was pure instinctive reaction for her not dodge, run, or even scream. Just block.

With her arms up elbows bent verticallyb in parallel to each other she covered her face and her chest.

When struck instead of falling backwards she would go one step back and get on her knees. Partly because of the ache she felt making her knees weak.

[Katsu]

Katsu's eyes go wide, and he rushes over!

"I'm so sorry! Are you alright?"

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei flies over as well.

"Check her arms!"

If it was anyone else, Yanmei would assume the worst would be a bruise. She doesn't know what hitting those crystals would do, even indirectly.

After the blast she kept her arms up and opened her palms.

"I am alright." she looked at them parting her arms away they were smoking, some of her hair was singed attention the front just a tad. "The wraps take care of... some Qi d-damage."

[Katsu]

Katsu lets out a sigh of relief.

"...I'm sorry. I'm not usually that... sloppy."

[Qi Yanmei]

"Are you sure you're okay?" Yanmei says uneasily.

She's used to a certain someone downplaying just how hurt they are.

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

"Oh yeah, I'm full proof." she smacked her left arm as a show of some confidence but then grabbed it while hissing between her teeth from the impact.

Unclasping the left one she would pull down the wrap to see all her arm hair was just gone and the surface area was incredibly red. A mild burn but one that would be felt for a minute. She would mention it as if otherwise unsurprised and half facinated."Hm... Its like that time I got a sunburn after locking my self outside with not but shorts and chemise for eight hours."

[Katsu]

Katsu goes to take her arm gently, looking at it in concern.

"You are not very careful."

Pot, kettle.

[Qi Yanmei]

"Disregarding your injuries could get other people hurt."

Pointedly.

"Perhaps you should get it looked at by a professional."

Though it's probably tricky to find a doctor and qi crystal expert all in one.
