Daniel’s hands both go to the handles of his guns.

This was an attitude he’s not fond of.

"Yes?" she scoffs in amusement.

"You the town crazy person or something?"

Donovan would sigh.

"Helmet, replay audio."

There would be a whirring sound then a click as an audio play back would then happen.

"This must be the welcoming committee. Pretty poor, if you ask me."

"Don't forget they can't know who we really are."

Then the audio would shut off.

"So, what are you're real names?"

[Gunslinger]

Daniel doesn't answer.

Instead, he just immediately draws and fires at the helmet's rim, aiming to knock it off of Donovan's head!

Nova just crosses her arms. If that didn't make them look more suspicious, she'd be shocked.

Still, she could...work with it. Nothing she couldn't spin into a new lie.

"Sorry...it looks like you know more than we would have liked, but we at least need to make sure it ends there. Can you keep a secret? Or do we have to consider you a threat?"

Her questions were meant to heavily imply she was willing to 'confess' if he was trustworthy.

[Donovan]

When Daniel's arm came up the faceplate sealed shut protecting Donovan from the incoming shot. But it was still enough knock Donovan down. He was about to get up and launch himself at Daniel when the woman's words caught his ears. He would stop but his body showed that he was in full aggression mode.

"I ain't tellin' nobody shit. I'm an outcast. Considered weak because I was born with Qi, therefore I'm weak. So, fuck the lot of 'em I don't give two shits."

Then he would point at Daniel.

"Shoot my helmet again, and I will kill you with it."

[Gunslinger]

That makes Daniel grin at him.

"As if you could."

Although... the idea that a Qi made him weak? That's just preposterous. Daniel slowly lowers his gun.

[Novocaine]

Nova doesn't look like she cares to stop any potential violence. However, if she's got his attention, then she's happy to keep talking.

"Outcast for having Qi? Sounds like they're scared of you." Nova would chuckle.

[Donovan]

"Ha! And so they should be!"

He would stand up straight and would broaden his shoulders. Showing off his muscles figure with pride.

"But not because of my Qi, but because I was the fiercest of warriors long before I learned about the disgrace that lied dormant in my blood. None could beat me in a one on one fight in the ring."

[Gunslinger]

Daniel doesn't appreciate another man showing off his muscles to his fiance.

"And you think they can beat you now, because you have a Qi?"

[Novocaine]

"Disgrace, hm?" Nova would just nod, highly amused by that notion.

[Donovan]

Donovan would snort.

"No, but it wouldn't be an honest victory. Just like your guns, my Qi is nothing more than a dirty trick to gain the upper hand in battle. It's not a true warriors win. Just a cowards way to find victory."

[Gunslinger]

"What was that?"

Daniel's eye twitches.

"Only an idiot thinks that they can only use their body in a fight. You wear a helmet, for God's sake."

[Novocaine]

"Plus you have a sword. Aren't those advantages?"

[Donovan]

"This helmet is a symbol of pride an honor, worn only by those who are recognized as the most fierce fighters and warriors. As for my sword that is weapon for war. When I aim to kill my opponents. But there is no trickery in it. It is just a blade. It needs me to have any true threat or power. And even then I would only wield the blade against someone who chose to wield one themselves."
