[Kaia Galanos]

Kaia fights the urge to look at Cain...whether it's for the amusement of watching him in pain or actual concern in that mean, mean heart is a mystery.

She just narrows her eyes.

"Doesn't look dead to me."

Not the point, but he said she caused his death so that's what she's focusing on.

Preston jots down the note about the infection. Probably for the best that he had not acted as recklessly as that.

"Only because you are not strong enough to create a powerful reaction with prototype test crystals."

If these things had real kick they wouldn't be doing this for lesson one.

[Donovan]

Donovan would pick up his crystal as his question went unanswered. Typical. Why help the one who doesn't know. The people and their damn 'smarts' are fucking stupid sometimes. Then he saw Spikey go down and the teacher explain about how it was his doing. Donovan clenched his teeth. The lesson was clear so why was he still hurting the kid? Fucking teacher! Donovan gripped his crystal tight and focused on it like he did before pumping it with power! More power than before, he would feel almost spent after doing so. But he still had strength left he wadger for at least one more Qi use. The crystal in his had was glowing bright with power, but one would hardly be able to tell as the outside of the crystal seemed to be covered in a black smoke of some sort. Then, with all his strength he would throw the crystal at Adrian's face! At just the right moment with the crystal was right in front of Adrian Donovan would activate his stored Qi inside the crystal! His hope was the force and intensity of such a strong powered shield would be enough to knock Adrian backwards, or, at the vary least, disrupt his concentration on causing Spikey more pain.

[Cara Dunn]

Cara sat up straighter than she had been at the sound of the young man's screams and rolling in agony. Everyone else just seemed to accept it at first, though one of the instructors and another student also were upset. Her fingers curled into fists that she pressed into her thighs, frowning.

"I think he's learned his lesson,." Her tone sharpened as she shook her head. If not, then he'd probably have worse. If not, may he fake it.

She can't really deal with the guy who just threw a crystal at their instructor.  That wouldn't end well.  It made Cara stop and stare at Donovan in disbelief.

[Triton Augustus]

Triton erected himself, ready for battle. In great pain was the mainlander, a wrath cast by the teacher, it seemed. His methods begged challenge.

"Release the boy from his pain!" declared the angered islander as the inquisitive man heaved forth his crystal.

[Avice Locke]

This Academy had very little to joke about the situation. She had begun to dislike some of these people and their careless attitudes herself honestly. Still, It was the situation that as at hand that she wasn't sure how to react. The girl, Kaia, was going to get the Boy killed with her words. She remained sitting grinding her teeth at the boy's screams and thinking if this was what she was about to sign up for she would rather put her pen down now.

[Zack Asiv]

Sam had gotten onto her PT sending for aid and back up, and Adrian stared still at Kaia.

"You still agree?"

Adrian would wave his hand again, removing the pain from Cain, before raising his hand at Kaia and closing his fingers into a cage like claw before the pain was moved to Kaia who would now feel the excruciating pain of Cain's form.

"I took Cain's pain into myself to make it to where he could feel none of what he was supposed to, on top of my own damage so that I could continue instructing this class... But you, you who cares nothing for your allies, and would rather spit in my FACE THAN ADMIT YOUR MISTAKES TO SAVE THEM FROM TORMENT ARE THE WORSE KIND!"

Adrian was yelling now reaching for his mask with his free hand. Sam's body would glow and the whole area would seem dimmer for it before she practically vanished from her spot each step ripping into the earth like an explosion erupting from the ground before she slammed her fist into his stomach. Adrian letting out a huge gust of his breath seizing up unable to breath in, he would lose consciousness and the pain would return to Cain, however medical staff had appeared and would give him pain killers and put him to sleep with an odd liquid they forced down his throat. He would rest easy as he was taken away.

Sam would sigh as the light dimmed from her body to nothing before turning to everyone else.

"That concludes this class. Return to your rooms until you have been contacted about this incident."

Donovan's crystal had missed it's mark, yet it still lay there, shaking. Yet, before anyone else could leave it would explode having been heavily corrupted from over charging and cracking from containment, the explosion would send the Crystal shrapnel everywhere.

(Roll a D20 + half your Per stat in the Dice section of the discord, if you do not beat a 35 you are hit by shrapnel from the explosion and are now taken to the hospital for surgery to remove the crystal shards, while taking constant 200 dmg over time until removed.)

[Preston Salabim]

Preston would write down the effects of Donovan's crystal, which did not seem to explode. Packing up his things, letting the chaos move around him he'd move closer to the crystal, probing at it with his Mana to evaluate its stability and the changes going on within it. However, sensing how unstable it was becoming he shifted and lifted up a chair to block the shrapnel from hitting him.

Donovan drops in pain!

[Cain Rhamos]

Cain pants on the ground, struggling to breathe after the pain is removed from him. He somewhat struggles to sit up, wanting to see what's happening, and there's a scowl as he sees the pain get moved again.

"....that's...mi-"

He can't even get the rest out before he takes it back, and he writhes some more before he's tranquilized.

[Cara Dunn]

Cara frowned at the yelling, feeling as though things were going to go bad before any solution could become when Adrian seemed to lose control enough for his fellow instructor to take action instead of just a warning. But that that paled to the fact that she noticed the crystal Donovan did not immediately explode and instead was shaking.

She had no interesting in getting a faceful of whatever crystal shenanigans were going to happen, propping her desk up with one foot and leaning to avoid the incoming shrapnel.

Looks like she'd be heading back to her own room for now. Still baffled at the class, she shook her head and rose up, correcting the desk and leaving.

Her senses heightened and she could see what happened quick enough to get behind to Dodge the oncoming shattered crystal and would. The hair in her neck stood and the scare in her chest nearly made her heart explode from her chest. Her sign up papers were however not so lucky seeing the shards shred the application she would take this as a sign that it was not supposed to be this way. Not to mention the commotion was not how this situation should be handled. The Teachers were about as out of control as the students and she was not with this at all. She laid her crystal where she stood leaving it where it was and would leave to grab her child and find another place to be.

Takes lots from the body and makes body sleepy and need sustenance. Compensating senses; heightened senses sight hearing, smell, taste, and touch. 50% perception increase.

[Kaia Galanos]

Kaia's eyes would widen in shock as she leaned back from the pain. She managed to stay on her feet at first, but eventually crumbled to the ground as her brain scrambled to find a way to deal with her pain. She could hear screaming, but most of the words were lost to her as her head filled with only the sounds of her own screams. And though it felt like an eternity, the pain would soon disappear, leaving her quietly on the ground where she tried to recuperate.

What the hell was this?

He was dead. He was SO dead. Maybe not now...but this would not go unpunished.

Something with her low position on the ground somehow left her unharmed when the Qi crystal she didn't even know about would blow up.

After simmering in her own rage for a while, she'd attempt to pick herself up long after others had left. She just stayed seated where she was though, staring off at nothing in particular.

Triton, with stolen heed, knew not of the danger that awaited him within the stone. As the great power the crystal held within was released, a torrent of energy swept over the party. Many pieces like the teeth of a shark found their way into the islander's scales. Darkness swept over his vision, and his consciousness left him.

Everyone except Preston Receives: Prototype Shield Crystal (Permanent Consumable) - By spending one Qi Use the user can place a shield between themselves with the durability of their Energy stat at the time of activation. It practically fully nullifies Projectile Qi attacks absorbing the damage to make its self stronger. Lasts 4 posts

Preston Receives: Prototype Bubble Shield Crystal (Permanent Consumable) - By spending one Qi use the user can place an 8 foot bubble around themselves with the durability of their energy stat at the time of use. This bubble prevents attacks from getting inside, but the user can still attack outside of it. Lasts 4 posts

Everyone gets: +3 exp

Cain Receives: Crystal Shard Implants (Special/Misc) - For now these shards were unable to be removed and increase Qi projectile damage he receives by +10%. Investigation/Upgradable

Preston Receives: Crystal Infected Wood - This wood has been infected by malicious and corrupt Qi Crystal energy from the chair he used to block himself. If used as a primary component to an item has Qi absorbing abilities. If used as an add on, has Qi projection enhancement abilities.

Donovan Receives: Awakened Knowledge - Once per thread Donovan can check into the knowledge of Qi he has awakened enhancing a singular Qi ability by 25%.

Cara Receives: Power Sense - Once per thread the first dangerous Qi attack thrown at Cara, be it projectile, physical, or mental; she can sense and take precautions against adding +50% her Def stat to her Def.

Avice Receives: Coffin Piece - This piece of a black coffin has a tale to tell. It can be used to make an item, or can be investigated.

Kaia Receives: Plot of The End - Once per thread Kaia can plot out an attack. After seeing an ability done once in a thread, the next time it is done her plan goes into action halving the effects of the attack if she is struck and giving her abilities a 50% increase to counter it.

Triton Receives: Black Scales - Once per thread Triton can cover himself in these malicious black scales from the energy of the exploding Crystal, giving his physical stats a 25% increase for 5 posts. However they make him angry and filled with rage for that time having difficulty seeing friend from foe.
