Where does this even end? (Cara/Cillian/OPEN)

Kaia can see the electricity only jumps between the spines and the teeth in it's mouth. It's sides and limbs are vulnerable!

Cillians smoke worked to confuse the near by lizards momentarily stunning them from attacking while his blade struck true cutting past the scales, but only just, they were hard like thick glass.

Cara is able to smoke a few of the large dog sized lizards with her smoke, but they were approaching the white lizard who was backing up closer to Cara as it was driven back by gnashing and hissing teeth!

There was a row of about six of the large lizards seeming to charge up electricity around them getting ready for some sort of large scale attack.

Well in that case.

She finds her stick that was rudely knocked down and runs for the closest one, looking to Happy Gilmore the hell out of the side of a scaley boi and send it flying into the charging pile to bowl them over. Ideally interrupting whatever they were trying to do.

"Fuck you!"

The smoke did less against the lizards than he had hoped it would, but stunning them was something at least, and it would hopefully allow him to press the attack on the big one while the ladies, who were surprisingly capable continued their own attacks. He'd try again, aiming for the same area he had hit before. The scales were hard, but he was slowly getting past them. He could beat it, he believed that much. So he'd continue his attacks.

0 Level - Smoke before the fire - Cillian can create smoke in an area twenty feet around him, heated from the flames of war. This smoke burns those he deems an enemy like fire adding his energy to his attack stat.

"Oh no you don't!" That much electricity promise to mean an extra bit of barbecue. Cara would kick at the sideof one of the beasts near her and the white lizard.

"We've got another problem." She would follow Kaia's lead here and draw another arrow, firing at the now one-eyed beast, hoping to blind its other eye if Kaia couldn't knock it around!

Kaia's kick works to cause the large lizard extreme pain. Coughing and hacking up blood as it stumbles away rolling on the ground! However another tail comes swinging in slamming her back towards Cara! (Dmg: 35)

Cillians smoke attack would cause quite a bit of damage to the group, though it seemed to spur their instincts on more than stopping them! His strile lands true thanks to Cara's second arrow being hidden by the smoke slamming the other eye of the blue meanie, this time the blade only feels a moment of resistance before slipping into the slice it had made before and doing a fatal amount of damage. Blood from the slice jumping through the air landing a quick splash on Cillian as the beast drops.

Cara's kick does not prove overly effective, but it does cause the creature to back up some.

The electrified lizards that remain from the ones that had been charging now open their mouth and blast forth electric plasma like jets of water shooting sparks in every direction turning the ground to glass where it licked before the beams would stretch out across the area for Cillian, Kaia and Cara! (Dmg: 80 x3)

Cara would however find she was defended by the white lizard having moved in front of her, the frills on it's neck fully extended and seemingly spreading a white energy shield. The white energy would take the blow of the electricity fully, but the energy would appear cracked after the attack. The lizard was now forcing each heavy breath.

Cillian didn't react to the blood splashing on him, his battle instincts in full gear. The large lizard moved to protect Cara even as electricity ripped through the air, glassing the ground where it touched while Kaia was knocked back toward Cara and the Lizard. Rushing forward he'd hold his blade in front of him, his palm bracing itself against the flat side of the blade as he tried to brace and block the lightning strike coming toward Kaia. He may lack his shield from home, but his blade was forged to be able to stand against the best blade ever created. He put his faith in it now.

Cillian takes the double shot, but it has a surprising amount of force hurling him backwards and slamming into Kaia and bouncing off her as she is flung away into the distance, so is Cillian!

Good. The little blue lizard can go back from where it came from...wherever that was. Any satisfaction Cara might have gotten out of hitting the big lizard's eye was quickly dashed as Kaia came flying at her, along with the charged attack. She felt the world slow for a moment, her senses on high alert as she braced for impact and tried to find some sort of cover...which was apparently the white lizard and Cillian? He literally just threw himself in front of her with no way to protect himself...that was going to take time to process that she didn't have right now. Especially since she was almost alone.

“Thank you,” she spoke to the white lizard as she looked over how many lizards were in range of her, as well as the landscape around them.

“It's too open here.” She would aim for the side of one of the lizards. “Do you know a place wheree we can keep them from attackign at once?” She frowned, worried for the qi beast that was clearly wiped after protecting her. She had to be able to return the favor.

Her arrows strikes a soft spot and penetrates doing a good amount of damage! There are three large blue lizards left with them the others went chasing their prey. The white lizard would lower it's body and shake a bit looking at her and throwing it's head at it's back!

For a second she thought she could hear something in her head. But, she knew it intended to have her ride it. There was no doubt whatsoever.

Well that was...something? Things went weird for a second, but the impending threat had more of Cara's focus as the white lizard responded. The intent was plain, and while she might have asked to ride, it was another thing altogether if the lizard offered it, instead.

She wasn't going to say no to that!

"Don't have to tell me twice." There was a rush of adrenaline with the words as the ranch girl adjusted her bow and climbed onto its back, picking a spot between two spikes.

"Let's go!"

This is the part where we hope it's not going to suddenly go kelpie and try to drown her.

The white lizard spins around and takes off away from the blue lizards, which begin to give chase. The white lizard raises the huge armored tail and slams it on the ground, a golden light peeking through all the cracks it just made before the earth rose into cliff's and walls to funnel the lizards in, with Cara and the white lizard stand at it's point!

The white lizard actually let's out a roar which halts the blue lizards advance for only a moment!

Cara can admire a good display of power when she sees one, and that is definitely one of them. She stared for a moment as the golden glow spread like cracks in teh ground, uncertain what to expect with one hand on her bow drawing it in a slow daze.

And then the spikes and walls formed and a grin split her face as she let out a whoop of delight.

"Excellent!" Drawing another arrow, she'd focus on the closest incoming lizard, aiming the arrow at its foreleg as she unleashed it if she couldn't find a side. It worked last time, but if the squishy spot wasn't around, she'd hope to slow it down a bit!

Cara's arrow hits the foreleg, but it isn't enough to penetrate the scales! It cracks them and bounces off!

"Almost!"

Cara hears it in her mind, but it definitely wasn't her voice, or even really a voice. It was more like an intense feeling of intent.

The blue lizards are charging again while one in the back has begin charging that electric energy.

[Cara Dunn]

"What?" Cara almost falls off in shock at the sense of intent in her head! Because her voice does not sound like that. She slid back towards the next spike before she shifted her weight and drew another arrow, only to stop and reach for the strange crystal shield she'd received in class.

"Try to channel your energy into this. Focus on wanting it to work. It can make a shield." She wasn't sure how they were going to activate it, but it had to be a chance.

If there's time for her to try another arrow at the blue bugger, she'll do it.

The lizard nodded and did so energy reaching the crystal, however as Cara pulled the draw string she could see the arrow glowing and leaving a golden trail as it flew forth. It ripped rock up in it's wake, as well as attaching it to the arrow slamming into the front two lizards, the lead one she was firing at peppered like a pin cushion with these shards of rock, stopping it in place before it fell to the ground. The other had a few in it and it was slowly approaching.

Finally the one in the back fired its blast of lightning! However the shield would activate and hold the energy back, but only just! It would not work a second time.

"AGAIN!"

She can feel the intent, the urgency to fire another arrow!
