Thorn immediately dives forward, looking to grab the commander by the throat and squeeze as hard as he can, aiming to crush his windpipe.

Ideally, he's also going to keep the commander in the way, so that his soldiers don't have a clear shot.

Stigma would try to shield her eyes with her arm, unable to notice Donovan being thrown back into her until it was too late.

If nothing else, she'd soften his landing a bit. She owed him at least that much!

"What the hell was that for?" Joy snarled at Soni, an actual growl in her voice as she raised an arm to shield her face from the sand that rained down on them, but there was too much not to get hit with it.

She really didn't like the sound of stronger vibrations filling the air. Whatever else, that sheild had to go. Digging the claws of her monster arm in the ground to help her from flying off like a distant star, the warrior hurled a bolt of chaos at the shield in hopes of stopping it.

"Get out of my way!"

Bloodline Zero Ability: Chaos Energy: The purest form of destruction.Joy is able to fire chaos energy from herself doing 150% her energy in damage. If there are Qi defenses in the way, the chaos energy dismantles it and pierces through items, doing damage as if the target only has it's base Def stat.

[Soni Vox]

Soni hit the ground and slid back. Shortly after, she picked her frail and now pained body up. 

So that's what it feels like... she thought, having never been on the receiving end of her blasts.

Then some chick yelled at her, and Soni began to shout back a defense, but there was too much going on, and she couldn't find the words.

I was just trying to help...

While others took care of the offensive, the girl ran over to the guy with the metal arm and the girl he landed on to find/ask if there was a way to help.

[Cynic]

Cynic would look to the sky as he made his way back hoping to see the incoming artillery. If he did he would rush back trying to arrive right after the artillery hit!

[Lucifer]

An explosion rocks the tower as the artillery strikes the side of it, a massive hunk of stone from the side of the building crushing the man with the shield and one of the soldiers with spears as they stumbled out of the rumbling building. The remaining spearman in the door is knocked off balance as he manages to avoid the debris.

Thorne crushes the man's throat as he and the guards inside are thrown by the impact against the tower!

Those outsides can see the crystal on the top of the tower looks to being fed high concentrations of energy from two coffins now that there is a hole in the side of the tower revealing it.

[Joy]

Joy tensed and looked up as the artillery rained down from above, but it seemed to be directed at the now damaged tower. Inside, she could see the crystal they were told about, though she didn't understand why the wooden boxes were there with it.

"I'm going ahead." Being the sort to advise her crew what she's going to do, Joy unleashes her second form! Mini wings sprouted along with additional arms, and it hurt, but not as much as she expected.

Either way, she lets the others deal with the remaining guard, using her wings to boost her jump up and monster claw to dig in hand holds as she did so!

Amulet of Pride (+5 Atk, +5 Eng): When activated, this amulet covers Joy's body in an external beast form separate from her own that she can control. This manifests as a small pair of wings, horns, and two extra arms. This form last for four posts upon activation and gives +50% Spd and +50% Atk

Cynic comes charging in attempting to leap and throw his spear at the downed soldier!

[Donovan]

Donovan would stand up and struggle to see who all was left.

"I'm going to make an opening, everyone run through as soon as I do!"

Donovan would say to the others as he pulled out his sword, slicing his hand for the power boost of his qi, and slashed a beam at the doorway and any guards that might still be standing there!

Zero Ability/First Gift (Upgraded): When Donovan takes damage that causes him to bleed a black mist flows around his body and his muscles become more refined and he has an increase in strength and Defense (and rage) +20 Atk +12 Def

Once per thread this sword can slash a beam of energy that does Donovan's energy in damage plus his attack stat. Donovan can spend Rage stacks to add damage to the output of this attack, or spend 4 Rage stacks to be able to use the beam of energy again.

Stigma would hop back up once Donovan was off her, waiting for his ability to go off before looking to head inside. She held her sword ready in case not all the guards had been hit.

Thorn falls from the impact, then hunts for cover, not eager to get shot by the men who are also recovering.

Afterwards, he'll try to gauge what threats are still present.

[Soni Vox]

Soni sends an extra blast along with the metal arm guy's blade thing to feel useful clear the way some more!

Thorne sees the doorway gets blasted by Donovan and Soni keeping the guards down and allowing him to recover first while the two left are still picking themselves up.

The downed soldier by the door is impaled by Cynic's spear clearing any obstacle Stigma would have going in to join Thorne and the last remaining soldiers downstairs.

Joy is able to get to the top floor where she can feel the power of the crystal growing with every second. One didn't even need to be Qi sensitive to feel the energy on their skin, prickling and burning as the crystal grew brighter. A sense of nausea permeating through her body from the proximity of it. Two coffins stood on the far wall, their doors opening at her presence as a man and woman stepped out. The woman slowly drawing a long sword as the man rushed Joy, sending a punch for her gut.

Thorn goes to curb stomp any of the surviving soldiers into the floor.

Because he's efficient, not because he likes it.

[Stigma Wyatt]

Any other remaining soldiers would be immediately stabbed with a quick thrust of Stigma's sword should Thorn not be able to finish them all off in time.

Otherwise she was interested in getting a good look at what was down here that was worth protecting at all costs.
