Oh... of course.
"Uh, thats... not what I meant. The Territory is called Lightning Country because the Man who rules it can manipulate electricity. So he named the territory after his home, which he calls the Lightning Tower. I'm pretty sure he calls it that just to sound cool."

She giggled and snorted at the idea of it. Bringing a hand up to cover her mouth quickly in hopes he didn't notice the snort.
"I mean, I could be wrong though. I don't know, it's your home. I'm sorry. Here I am trying to ask you about your home and I am pushing my own preconceptions on you."
She winced a little at the thought of how rude she was being.

Drake shrugged.
"Surviving. Proving yourself to others. Respect. Strength has many forms where I come from, so even if someone is weak in the Qi power they hold they may be strong in the physical feats, and others are just really good with politics and swaying the minds and opinions of people and that makes them strong. So, putting a ranking system on Qi users was never considered important because honestly Qi is just one faucet of a person. Not everything to live by.

"No, I agree. But just saying they are strong with no context to frame it in doesn't convey a lot of information. An adult is strong to a child. Even a weak adult. But that child might just say all adults are strong. But that doesn't give you any actual information when it is left to be so subjective. Wouldn't you agree?"

Drake shook his head.
"Actually I've heard stories of little boys and girls that do tremendous and terrifying things. And Adults that judge them on being children regret it."
But, maybe he was going to far on a point that didn't matter.
"But, I guess I could understand why you would find use in a Ranking system in this world. Here, being strong is important, and being really strong means people can look up to you. Where I'm from being really strong makes you a target. Because everyone is looking to prove their strength by taking down those that are considered stronger."

She couldn't imagine being in a position to use her strength to try to harm people over something as silly as ranking or to prove one's worth. It was just such a waste of talent.
"Well, I'm sure you won't need to worry about that here. I am only a rank D myself, hardly worth mentioning."

She'd hold out a hand and he'd hear the ground shaking and cracking as roots erupted from out of the ground, flowers blooming and dying around him at an alarming speed.

She blushed once again at his praise, trying to straighten up rather than hide from it. Even though it was uncomfortable to hear.
"Because I'm not very strong. I'm no fighter, but I try to be useful where I can. That's why I go and gather Blight Bloom. It's easier for me to be able to do it. It's the least I can do."
