She didn't follow him, walking away with a sigh and a frown. The climb wasn't too bad, atop the tower he would see an old man looking out over the bog lost in thought. |

Drake would notice that Melody didn't join him. He started to call out, but decided against it. She probably needed time to herself. He would continue up in silence. Once at the top he would look around and take in the view.

Drake would say as he moved closer. Trying to see if he could see whatever the man might be looking at.

The old man didn't move or say anything even as Drake moved closer. Looking out over the tower Drake would just see a bog, though it was impossible to see far through the trees.

The man didn't move in response to Drake waving his hand in front of his face however, he just kept staring outward at the bog.

Drake stuffed his hand in his pocket and huffed.
"Was just trying to make sure you weren't dead."
He sighed. Don't be a dick. This is why people don't tell you things. Drake groaned internally rolling his eyes.
"Sorry. No, I was hoping you might be able to tell me everything you know about the Blight. Where it came from, how it started, when it started. Stuff like that. I want to know anything and everything that you might know?"

If the first part made him guffaw, the second part made him roar with laughter.
