Detritus is more confused now.

"Are you not slaves? What kind of government runs this place?"

He shook his head.

"If you two are the greatest this land has to offer, then it will forever remain a wonder why Lord Wyatt let's you... people scuttle about."

Points for her, Cara supposed. The situation was drawing more attention, though at least Rhona's was a face she recognized. But first things first - the two who walked through the gate.

"What's on your mind?" Her gaze went from Nova to the man beside her, frowning slightly before shaking her head.

"Why are you using those metal cylinders? If I'm savage, I'm still good enough to get approval out of you." She raised a hand at Rhona, not quite waving but also confused as to who this "Lord Wyatt" was.

[Novocaine]

Nova would give Daniel some hard side-eye for butting in, but would ultimately just let him get that out of his system. Unfortunately that also meant her own questions would be put on hold for Cara, and Nova would swap her focus as well. First she'd look at Rhona and shrug.

"No problems on our part."

Then shift her attention towards Detritus.

"See, I never said the greatest. It's more like...uhh, better. Consider that you're all sort of the base level of human ability. And we're improved in...well every manner."

Simple.

"So, Birdman, you saying you're a slave to your Lord Wyatt?"

[Gunslinger]

Daniel nods with Nova's assessment, oblivious to the butting in he'd performed.

"They're guns. Guuuunnnnss. Tell me you've at least heard of them."

He holds one up towards Cara so she can look at it, before glancing at the newest comer.

...he doesn't recognize her either. This is a weird feeling.

Detritus would turn to Nova.

"Yes."

He would say with less emotion than a robot.

Cara blinked and looked at the gun presented, not taking it from him as a weird sort of recognition lit her face.

"Oh, that's what those are." She shook her head with a snort. "Grandpa used to have one, but he ditched it when they stopped working." She remembered something about her mother not wanting to name her daughter Matilda or have her running around with a dangerous weapon in the house. She shrugged, uncertain of what to make of the slavery topic and figuring the other two were fine with it.

"Haven't useed one so far, and I'm still alive and kicking."

[Rhona Hall]

Big talk between Dirt and Prota transfers. Roping in a Cabal student or two along the way.

"While I am all for meeting the rest of you and getting to know what makes the strength of the territories you come from... You all are trainees and soldiers of Cabal here. You are measured not by anything else except your efforts. Test your metal against Masters and Slaves on the training field no limits, no holding back, and everyone gets an equal opportunity. That is if you feel up to it?" She thought it might be interesting.

[Novocaine]

Nova's brows would raise.

"Interesting. You've got a lot of privilege for a slave." she'd note, not really having heard of slaves getting to go to Cabal. They usually had more menial tasks to accomplish.

Unless it turned out he was some kinda janitor or groundskeeper here.

In any case, Nova would look at Rhona and cock a hip.

"Are...you from Vindicta or something?"

Straight to starting a group brawl, huh?

[Gunslinger]

"Lots of people survive without guns. They just... don't live life very long."

Daniel snorts.

"Or at least, not a life worth living. Guns are amazing."

You can tell where his interest lies. He spares the newcomer a glance at her suggestion.

"...I've never been invited to shoot someone before..."

Not... without finishing the job, at least.

[Rhona Hall]

"We strive to gain experience and stretch out limits in many forms of combat." She told the Gunslinger. "Some may stop a bullet or an arrow in it's tracks but we'll not know unless it happens."

Her hand glowed vibrantly turning to Nova. "Olympus actually, Vindicta don't care for someone with Qi like me." Her short stature would also make one interesting Vindictan if she was one.

[Cara Dunn]

"Maybe, but I've done just fine without them this long." Cara would shrug at the enthusiasm over guns, unconvinced. They were destroyed for a reason, an even if they hadn't been and there were exceptions in the world, her bow hadn't let her down yet. And she wasn't interested in whatever Prota had to make them work.

Looking over at Rhona's glowing hands, she shook her head.

"A fight's fine, but I don't think our talking's that bad."

[Detritus]

Detritus would look between everyone as fighting was brought up.

"What point is there in fighting if the end result isn't conversion or death?"

[Novocaine]

Nova just starts laughing.

"You guys are too much."

What a colourful bunch.

[Gunslinger]

"Hm."

Daniel frowns thoughtfully.

"Looks like this place isn't as unified as I thought. Maybe we can learn something here."

[Rhona Hall]

"It doesn't seem to be a bad enough tussle to warrant a hate war for sure. Though seems their is a debate on the worth and wellness of each of our skills. One that could be remedied with a spar... For sport and experience." She would answer more than one person with her statement specifically Cara and Detrius.

"Sir. Guns there gets it." She chuckled. "I'm Rhona, Rhona Hall for those who don't know. Who are you all and from where exactly do you hail from?
