Don't you just love them? (open/Daniel)

[Cara Dunn]

Cara gives Rhona a long, hard look as the other woman explains her thoughts. She wasn't sure how much the girl heard as the idea was set aside for the sake of continuing their questions.

"Fight or not fight, my name's Cara Dunn. I'm from a little territory south of here. You?" She takes in the others with her gaze, wondering where they came from to get the attitues that they did.

[Detritus]

"Detritus of Dirt."

He would say bluntly.

[Novocaine]

"Nova from Prota."

[Gunslinger]

"Daniel, from the same."

He nods.

"Also, I can't believe you live in a place called Dirt. No wonder you're dumb."

[Rhona Hall]

"Welcome to you all." She would simply say and be a little surprised at gunslingers comment wondering if it would grant hostility. She was expecting a spar not having to break up a blood bath no doubt.

[Cara Dunn]

Cara paused for half a second as Daniel returned to his previous train of thought and debate. She's not surprised. Given his entrance. The fact they were from Prota put her on edge a bit, but it also explained the "lesser beings" bit. She had no idea where Dirt was.

"Prot huh? Youre a long ways from home. What brings you here?" She turned her attention to Nova, still a bit wary. She didn't expect them to do anything more stupid than they had, but the stereotype wasn't forgotten, either.

[Detritus]

Detritus would tilt his head as he looked in confusion.

"Dirt is everywhere, and everywhere there is dirt my King rules. You call me dumb for living in a land called Dirt. I call you Fulbright for fooliahing believing that just because you call the Dirt of your home 'Prota' that some how gives it more importance."

[Novocaine]

Nova would give Rhona a nod before looking at the farm-girl and shrugging.

"Like I said, we're here to learn. Things are done different here than back home, so there's lots we could pick up on. Even strategies that aren't well thought out can be effective."

A beat.

"Among other things, of course. The intent wasn't to upset anyone. Just...learning. Which is why I was going to ask you how things work around here but..."

In an asshole fashion, perhaps. But still.

"..If the whole fight thing is some kind of right of passage for joining here, I'm not gonna pussy out. But I don't hold back, either." she'd say, pulling on her wraps.

[Gunslinger]

Daniel smirks at bird man.

"Your king isn't even a member of the big four. I bet he's just a king of one of those 3rd rate territories, not even second rate."

Which is everyone but Prota.

[Rhona Hall]

"Dirt as a protectorate of Cabal is growing quite formidable as far as I am aware. Be careful who you call lesser today for tomorrow they might be greater." Rhona would point out.

Rhona turned to Nova. "Not sure about a right of passage, but its fun mostly."

[Cara Dunn]

"They're usually straightforward. Office, paperwork, that sort of thing. There are classes for other things, too, if you're interested Like with qi crystals." She nodded towards Rhona.

"But some folks like to blow off steam with a spar, too. There's a protection to keep us from dying if we don't do anything stupid, if you think you need your weapons."

[Detritus]

Detritus turned to Rhona as she spoke.

"The brash one is not as incompetent as she looks. Well said."

Then back to Daniel.

"You pride and arrogance will be your undoing."

[Novocaine]

"Yeah, I don't fight for fun." Nova would admit.

"Guess it's lucky there's a 'protection'."

[Gunslinger]

“Oh yeah? And how would that happen?”

Daniels pretty sure it’s not going to happen.

[Rhona Hall]

Rhona turned to Detritus and would smile. "Awe, thank you!" She assumed that was more of a compliment than he usually gave, she was grateful.

Still, she changed her face when Novacane gave her reply and she simply shrugged. Crossing between saying "Your loss." but also thinking that Nova might be a very mature person. Rhona admired that even if that meant admitting she herself was the less matured one.

"Cara is right though, the Protection as it withstands is good security when we go all out or lose control of ourselves. Those two types of things happen most often while most of us are learning."
