[Brianna Valdyr]

Brianna would turn to face Cillian more as he produced the sword, watching him and the sword for any changes. Plus, it was just a badass looking sword that she could appreciate.

Byron would stare and nod as he inspected it without his eye techniques.

As for Brianna she could see the same storm as before, except either stronger or brighter. Like it was ready to change somehow, become more than it is.

Cillian kept the blade out while they examined it!

(Shikenshi) Zap Dragon Blade: A sword with blue flame summoned from the palm of Cillian holds in it the power of the Zap Dragon. "It's still growing." Brianna activated her eye to see if she could gleam anything else from the sword.

"It's brighter and..ready?" She tapped her jaw with a finger. "Like the calm before the storm. Like it's going to change just by using it; filling a glass over the rim but not before it starts spilling."

Byron would activate his eyes again and furrow his brow.

"I see it. I wonder what it will turn into."

Brianna can see the energy taking a kind of shape, almost like a snarling snout and some eyes.

"It's the same energy as before though?"

"So far as I can tell." But let's check with the GM to be sure!

"It feels the same as before, but stronger, more solid." She wasn't sure how to explain it, but she focused on the form as it began to take shape, discerning eyes and the beginning of a face.  Her left eye continued to glow red as she continued to inspect the energy.

"Whoa." She didn't know if she could get into a staring contest with energy, but it felt strong enough for her to make out out of everything else.

"What kind of qi beast did you fight when you got the mark?"

Byron would nod.

"Looks the same to me, just stronger."

Brianna can get into a staring contest with energy apparently, as it seemed to stare back, a spark of electricity shooting off the sword as if the energy was reacting to her looking at it. It wouldn't be enough to reach her or really anything, but it was obviously meant as a reaction. Byron raised an eye brow.

"I'm also curious as to what you fought."

Byron asks Cillian, but he is now watching Brianna.

Cillian released the blade, letting it vanish when lightning sparked toward Brianna.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to send the electricity toward you. I clearly need more practice with the blade."

He didn't know why it did that, but attacking a friend was unacceptable. This is what worried him about this power.

"A group of large Lightning Lizards. Do you think that matters?"

[Brianna Valdyr]

Brianna raised her brows as the electricity jumped from the blade, almost like it was reacting to her acknowledging it. She clicked her tongue as Cillian apologized and let the sword disappeared.

"No, no, you're good. It wasn't you at all. Maybe you could, one day, but for now, I think it might be the lizard?" She stopped and looked at Byron, then back to Cillian.

"Can you bring it out again? Please. I don't think it was expecting me to see it." It's about that time she realized they might not know what she was talking about.

"Lightning lizard, lightning blade. Makes sense. The energy's starting to take shape; I could make out eyes and part of the head, I think. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's not being pushed enough to really take shape yet?" She glanced at Byron again, feeling like she was part talking out her ass and part talking on instinct. She had no idea how to explain it.

Looking back to Cillian with a nod, she added, "I didn't feel anything hostile. It's okay, really."

"Do you want me to just bring it out though? Or did you want me to use the abilities I've mastered with it as well?"

[Brianna Valdyr]

"Let's stick with bringing it out for now. Save for the fancy stuff for a second." She'd only ever seen him form and reform the sword; she couldn't hide the gleam of interest in her eyes when he mentioned he could do other abilities with it.

Also, she doesn't want to risk destroying part of the compound, especially Byron's office. She'd never live it down for inviting it to happen.

Byron would deactivate his eyes.

"I didn't see any of what you are describing."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Alright."

He held out his hand again and reached inward to pull out the blade wreathed in flame.

"You don't?" Brianna turned to Byron, jaw dropping slightly before she caught herself and shook her head like a cat who'd had water sprinkled on them.

She didn't know what to sy to that other than to try again.

"I'll see if I can get a better look at it, too. You still don't feel any different?"
