Energy Duality (Brianna/Leon)

Byron watches though he doesn't use his eyes anymore.

Brianna is still seeing the same as before, it doesn't seem to have changed, and it is definitely staring back at her. Cillian feels no different at all. The sword might feel stronger, but it's not something he is sure about.

"This is more reason I think you should stick around with him, Brianna. Even if you don't have soul sight, there is something else there you have that may be unique."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"I still don't feel any different. The sword might feel a bit stronger, but that might just be because I am trying to feel something."

[Brianna Valdyr]

"Sure thing." She nodded at Cillian as well as Byron's elaboration, giving Cillian a brief grin. "Good thing you're a nice guy if we're going to be doing stuff together.." Hopefully it would help put him at ease a bit, humor and less formality, but it was a part of him that was changing. The last thing she wanted was him thinking she was making fun of him for it.

"Did you want to take a look around while you're here?" This thing definitely saw her. It was fascinating. Slowly, she tilted her head from one side to the other a couple of times, curious if what it would do.

Byron would butt out and let them talk, the energy shaped like part of a creatures head would open it's jagged maw when she tilted her head, though no more reactions like before beyond that.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"We can, sure. You sure all you wanted to see was the blade though?"

He didn't know how their eyes worked, but using the techniques might help he figured. But it wasn't his place.

[Brianna Valdyr]

"I'm curious, yeah. Last time you were just working on getting comfortable with it, right?Though maybe we should do it outside." She'd never seen what he could do with it, and there was a part of her that really wondered just what Cillian could do. Even now she could tell he was stronger. Another reminder she had a lot of catching up to do to be playing with the heavy hitters.

She slowly raised one hand to shoulder height, waving it side to side a couple of times again before lowering it.

There is no special reaction from the formation of energy besides to appear to hiss.

Byron shakes his head.

"In the training yard please."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Well, when I saw you last time I had figured out a few things. I just wanted to drill forming it so that I could do it without thinking. I wanted to get comfortable. But I trained on my own in case it was dangerous. I didn't want to risk an innocent person being harmed because I was reckless."

He bowed to Byron.

"Of course, I wouldn't want to cause a disturbance."

He'd wait for Brianna to show him to the training yard!

"Right." Brianna nodded. It made sense, as did doing anything more than that little bit. She really didn't want to have to hear about destroying Byron's office by accident, let alone what she'd have to do because it happened in the first place.

"Well, that makes sense." She turned and bid Byron farewell in the usual manner. "Thanks, Byron."

It was time to play tour guide!

"Let's go out to the training area for now. You can show me what you can do, and we'll have time after for the rest." Since there was no immediate hurry to get back to Cabal. She shook her head and chuckled.

"It feels weird, being the only one to see it. I can't tell if the energy is reacting to me because I could be a threat, or if it's part of what it does. But I am definitely excited to see what you can do with it." Since she'd been asking about it back in the training grounds beforehand.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"I admit, I am a little jealous. It's weird to think there is something inside of me, something that may be alive and I have no notion of it. I can't see it, I can't feel it, but you can. It's... I don't know. Troubling isn't the right word, but it's weird."

But it was what it was. He didn't have the talents of seeing into souls, and he wasn't the type to curse himself or let himself get to far down because of it. He had his own strengths and talents. Still, it was hard not to feel a ting of something.

"Alright, here we go."

He'd bring the sword back, electricity cackling around them as a wall of electricity began to crackle in a square around them 20 feet in all directions. Then bringing his sword down electricity jumped to life, zapping one of the training dummies ahead of him!

Zap Dragon Sword 2: Cillian can create a wall of electricity surrounding an area of up to twenty feet around him to create an arena, or to box in enemies. Those that touch the wall must suffer double Cillian's energy in Lightning Damage. This ability does not consume UP and may be used as long as the sword is activated.

"it's definitely weird." Despite the pride she had in her ability and her bloodline, even Brianna had to laugh. It was hard trying not to think she was imagining things, expect for the fact the thing was clearly staring at her, whatever it was. To her, that meant whatever he had was sentient on some level, which was even more interesting, but she also didn't want him thinking he was interesting only because of the energy.

"From what he said, it's trying to match your energy. So maybe it's supposed to be a part of you, or nearly. Like an energy that's there and always has your back. A secret partner."

She stood outside the dirt circle, watching with her eye since it seemed to offer the most insight. Her eye glowed red, a brif gleam in the haze of energy and lightning that surrounded him. Her eyes widened as she watched the energy twist and form, turning into a drago unleashing fire as he brought the blade down. The swish of air was muffled by an unmistakable roar that rocketed around in her head loud enough to make her wince.

"Dang." She sucked in a deep breath and let it out with a laugh, not wanting him to worry. "Well, I tell you what, that is something to see. It was like a great dragon unleashed a breath and lightning came out. Loudly." She deactivated the eye, wanting to watch him by himself for a bit.

"It's really cool what you can do with it, though. Do it again?"

He chuckled.

"Maybe. Though it's hardly fair if it's a secret partner. Two against one isn't very sporting."

But if it was part of who he was, it couldn't be helped. Or maybe it didn't count that way at all.

"Sure, it's pretty natural to do this at this point."

He'd say slashing again, another blast of electricity flying toward the striking dummy within the electric cage he formed.

"I mean, if it's still a part of you, then you can't do much about it. But if it's that much a problem, maybe don't use it during a one on one?" If he let that hold him back in battle, she couldnt' imagine it going well. But he was strong enough that he could probably do fine.

She watched with a nod, grinning as the lightning sprung forth from the blade to form a cage around the dummy. Without her eye, all she could see was the flow of energy that she had noticed before, but no shapes or sounds that vibrated her skull.

She bit her cheek as she realized another reason the Sudeki wanted him to themselves so badly. They could almost call him another lightning dragon if they knew about this power's form. It was really, really hard not to laugh at the mental lightbulb.

"I'm guessing sword is your normal weapon of choice?"

"Yeah, that might be for the best."

He knew he was stronger than most people, it's not like he was going out as it was. It was just another thing to keep in mind in case he faced someone truly wicked or powerful.

"Sword and shield. Though I can also use a whip, daggers, and a bow."

He'd never tried a Crossbow, however.

"Flexible. You don't see many at Cabal that focus on more than one, maybe two." She watched as the sword formed again.
