One thing Harpy didn't expect was for Cain to leap off of the mountain to attack her! His fist connected knocking the wind out of her lungs before he threw her down toward the ground! She screeched, holding out a hand as the mace flew back from the mountain toward her and Cain!

Roll a D20 + Perception > 50 to avoid the mace!

[Cain Rhamos]

Cain may not see the mace coming this time, and even as it strikes him, he’s somewhat pinned between it and the harpy.

But that means she can’t escape, either.

Spitting out blood in her face, he goes to head butted her immediately after!

As he smashed his head into her face he'd hear a crack as blood started to ooze from her scalp. She grits her teeth one hand grabbing her mace from his back while the other raked across his flesh while the two of them continue to fall through the air!

"Your journey ends here!"

[Cain Rhamos]

“Agh!”

Cain cries out from the clawing, and he moves his hands to grab both of the Harpy’s forearms. Even though he isn’t the one bleeding from the head, there’s a red haze that goes over his eyes seemingly.

“The only thing ending is you!”

He draws his legs up, then drives his feet straight for her chest, aiming to slam the Harpy into the ground as they land!

While he is driving his feet into her chest her wings would start to flap, gaining them altitude again slowly as she twisted to that they would begin spinning in the air while the air itself around them began to form into a vortex!

“I’ll kill you!”

Cain basically roars as they spin, and he tugs on her arms while pushing with his feet.

If she’s not going to the ground, he’ll rip her fucking arms off!

She screamed as joints popped out of their sockets. He didn't rip her arm off, but it felt like he did. The wind surrounding them exploded violently, razor winds cutting both of them as they plummeted to the ground, the wings no longer beating to keep them airborne!

[Cain Rhamos]

Cain keeps pulling as hard as he can!

He keeps his eyes peeled for when they're getting close to the ground, aiming on kicking away from her in order to try and cushion his own landing.

Cain succeeds! The landing hurts his knees a little, but he is mostly fine. Harpy however was in a small crater at the base of the mountain. And if Cain wanted to reach the top he would have to start again.

Cain slowly squats down, rubbing his knees.

"This. Fucking. Bitch."

He looks down at her in the crater.

Then up at the mountain.

Cain sighs, then continues back up the stairs.

[Lucifer]

It takes some time, but eventually he gets back to where he was, he can tell because the stairs are partially destroyed and rubble is blocking the path!

[Cain Rhamos]

"Man, I don't remember mom telling me there were monsters on this path."

Cain says, stretching his back a bit.

But continuing on, nonetheless.

....unless those rocks are in the way, then he'll clamber over them.

[Lucifer]

He climbs over the rocks, but with the burden weighing on him it is difficult. He manages to make it to the top of the pile to find that the stairway was broken off from the collapsing rubble. He would have to jump for it.

Cain makes a jump for it!

Cain's footing slips on the rocks as he leaps, his hands are able to catch the ledge and pull him up to safety as the rubble behind him topples down the mountain. But he was back on the stairs. And he'd made it this far. Now it was just the last push to the top!
