Cain finds things much how he remembered it! People busy about their day, a few God's here and there walking among the mortals, though by far the majority of those who have been named that walked among the mortals were those deemed either hero or monster. The Pyramids loomed in the distance, signaling the home of the Egyptians and beyond that, the branches of the world tree could be seen as well. But dwarfing all of them was Mount Olympus, a mountain that had been raised from the Earth sometime before the great war. Even were one to use the stairs the journey to the top was long and arduous. But it was only those dedicated enough to scale the mountain that could hope to call a meeting with the Gods unannounced.

If there's one thing Cain is, it's dedicated.
He's dreamed of being one of those very Gods himself, and the fact he was able to finally scale the mountain and see them on "official business" was all the motivation he needed to start charging up those steps!

Cain is blasting his way over the stairs with ease. But the higher he climbed he would find the journey was growing more difficult. Like some burden was weighing him down.

Cain has already reached higher than most people he knows that have tried to reach the top of the mountain. But it is said that the mountain tests those that have not proven to be worthy. The burden on Cain's shoulders deepened, the air seemed to be growing hazy, and the stairs were becoming less obvious. More built into the mountain. Shallower.

The burden continues to weigh him down. The bottom of the mountain seemed impossibly far down. But safer. The stairs ahead looked to be crumbling, and the air was growing thicker. Like it wasn't just air he was breathing.

Cain hears a whistling ripping through the air and is able to react just in time to avoid several bladed feathers from ripping his body apart as Harpy flew by with an attack. One of the Guardian monsters of Olympus. Letting out a frustrated shriek as she began to rise in altitude getting ready for another dive bomb. "Turn back mortal before I turn you into a pincushion and leave you to rot on this mountain." |

Cain throws himself to the side to avoid the initial attack, then gives the harpy the finger.
“Outta my way! You try that again and I’ll shove those feathers up your ass!”

Harpy's mace began to glow as the head grew five times its size. With a furious flap of her wings feather blades rained down at Cain once more before she hurled the mace above him to smash into the mountain, sending rubble falling down as well!
Roll a 20 + Speed > 40 to dodge the feathers.
Roll a D20 + speed > 55 to dodge the rubble as well.

(Rolled 59) Cain sprints forward, then leaps into the air, pushing past the feathers and the rubble as he aims to drive his fist into the Harpy's stomach, or at the very least, get a good grip so he can whip her downwards to the ground! -----------------
