Pirates ahoy...

[Bauldar]

He struggled to find his footing once unceremoniously tossed off of the pirate’s boat. Bauldar didn’t know why they chose this particular port to be done with him- as he had never left his homeland before, this area had as little meaning to him as the next.
He might never know why they saved him, but at least he was alive- if that counted for anything. He didn’t drown at sea.

Little victories.

Not that there was much to be triumphant about at the moment.

His empty eyes lazily took in his surroundings. There wasn’t a soul in sight and all he could hear was the whistling of the wind buffeting quiet buildings. He was alone.
And he was unfortunately hungry.

[Sage Sudeki]

A report came in rather quickly to Spike's PT about a huge man with antlers arriving in a near by port. Since he had been at Cabal for training anyways it was something he intended to look into. He had never heard of a Katashi with antlers before, but he had seen odder things when dealing with them. Looking around he didn't suspect it would be difficult to spot this particular individual and it wasn't.

Huge moose like antlers and the size of the man alone... Though he appeared to be a runt if he were a Katashi... Spike decided to go and play nice, though he would send off a message to Drake just in case.

"Hello there."

He would say with the wave of his left hand. His right sitting on the handle to his katana, though not gripping it.

[Drake]

Drake looked at his PT. A message from Spike about... a large man with Antlers? The fuck was he smoking? Drake had to find out what's up. Either he was going to see something interesting, or he was REALLY going to see something interesting.

[Bauldar]

A sudden voice greeting him of all things punctured a hole in the blanket of numbness that had surrounded him. He turned slowly towards to source of the sound, limbs feeling jerky and unnatural in their movements.

There was a man there.

It had been a while since his size was so noticeable, even on the pirate ship everyone seemed to just take it in stride for they were not that small themselves. A part of Bauldar that might actually still care noticed the way the man carried himself- confident in his abilities but still on guard, his hand ready to grasp the sword at his hip. Was the reason his size? He was sure he had never met the man before and therefore he would have no reason to be wary of him...

“Hello.” Bauldar said quietly back. His voice sounded rough from disuse- how long had it been since he had last said anything? To anyone? He couldn’t remember.

[Sage Sudeki]

Raising an eye brow at the response, that wasn't at all the response of a murder hungry body part swapping psychopath. Maybe it was just a large person. Accent was off too, sounded like he wasn't from this continent, that was rare.

"Is everything alright? You seem... Distant."

[Drake]

Drake would arrive to, indeed, see a large man with antlers, having what seemed to be a casual conversation with Spike.

"The hell..."

He would ask himself as he made his way towards the two.

"You weren't kidding. There really is a large horned man on the beach... huh, who would thought?"

[Bauldar]

Is everything alright?

No. Not at all.

Why does he care? Bauldar absently wondered if he was trespassing or committing some other such crime... Why else would this man have taken notice of him?

He opened his mouth to respond, and say what he wasn’t sure, but the words were lost when they were approached by another person.

His head tilted to the side curiously- this guy was *small*. Missing one arm definitely didn't help his slight appearance.

They seemed to know each other though, picking up on what seemed to be a previous conversation.
Despite the strange appearance of these two, he wondered if his own size and looks were the real unusual thing here. They both were horn-less after all.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would turn to Drake and nod.

"You showed up faster than I expected..."

He would turn back to the guy.

"Look, my name is Spike Sudeki. What's your name?"

[Drake]

Drake shrugged.

"I was nearby and rushed over to see what kinda shit you were smoking. But, I see now that you weren't, and I'm a bit disappointed."

[Bauldar]

His head tilted to the other side- feeling a bit like a bird he responded,

“Bauldar... Bauldar Rand. Can I...help either of you with something?”

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would shake his head.

"I guess not. You fit the description of known terrorists and I came to investigate. Though whats with the horns?"

Spike forgets himself and is physically pointing at them.

[Drake]

"Shit, not just ya horns what the fuck did you eat growing up? Shit dude, you big."

Drake would say unceremoniously.

[Bauldar]

Taking a step backwards at the sudden movement of...Spike? Was that his name? Before realizing he was just pointing at his antlers.
“Terrorists? I don’t understand.” He looked back and forth between the two suddenly feeling wary. “As for my antlers, I was born with them. I got them from my mother and her people. They are very normal where I come from.”

He looked down at the tiny angry sounding one, feeling his mouth open with the first response that came to mind, “Could it be that you both are just small?”

[Sage Sudeki]

"Huh, I don't know a territory specifically with horns, but there are some of the Dragonhearth citizens with horn mutations. You from Dragonhearth?"

Spike was basically striking up general conversation now and hopefully moving away from the terrorists conversation path.

[Drake]

"Hey! Fuck you with that small shit! I fuck you up no matter how big you are!"
