Exploring Options (Nova/Daniel/Leif)

[Leif Adamson]

"Yeah? I heard there was an Anti-Meta group around here, other than the one that attacked the apartment complex way back when. Have you had any troubles with them?"

Leif glanced between the two, trying to get a feel for them. They seemed calm enough, once they realized she didn't particularly care where they were from.

[Gunslinger]

"Nope."

Daniel shrugs.

"Anti-meta's are usually shown the door pretty quickly if they're getting out of hand, but usually I deal with them to keep things civil, since I'm not a meta myself."

[Novocaine]

"We don't want to lose too many customers so if there's an issue with me, Danny can take over." Nova would nod.

[Leif Adamson]

"You're not a Meta?" she asked the man with a tilt of her head.

[Gunslinger]

"Nope."

Daniel shakes his head.

"Unfortunately, I didn't seem to inherit that."

Not bitter at all. No sir.

[Novocaine]

"You wouldn't know it by the way he keeps up with them though." Nova would grin.

[Leif Adamson]

Leif nodded thoughtfully. That was interesting. Most of the people she knew were Metas, especially if they were born to Meta parents.

"Sounds like you two make a good team, then."

[Gunslinger]

"She does most of the heavy lifting."

Daniel laughs good-naturedly.

"You seem very... curious, about us."

[Novocaine]

"Used to anyway." she shrugs. She looks curiously as Leif, finding that Daniel's comment was a good point.

[Leif Adamson]

She gave a shrug of her shoulders.

"Yeah, I guess I am. I haven't really interacted with anyone for a while... Little passing conversations here and there, I guess. Its just nice to chat with someone."

[Gunslinger]

....maybe he's paranoid.

Maybe.

"...you said you were from Cabal, before?"

[Novocaine]

Nova gently places her baked goods into the display case, taking out a small cake and some plates before setting it down on one of the tables.

"Have a seat. We're not busy right now, we have time for a proper chat."

[Leif Adamson]

Leif glanced around, before choosing a place to sit. Her posture was abnormally straight, despite her hands remaining in her pockets.

"Yeah. Once upon a time. I was born and raised in Cabal."

[Gunslinger]

Daniel sits to one side, casually folding one leg over the other.

"What sort of assignments did you do for them?"

[Novocaine]

Nova starts cutting pieces of cake, setting them down in front of Daniel, Leif and then an empty spot for herself along with some forks.

She sits between the two.

"Danny and I only had a handful of assignments to aid Cabal."
