Leif sighed softly. The alone time felt nice. She was able to relax a little more, the remainder of the tension leaving her shoulders. These two seemed nice, and she appreciated their kindness, but it felt good to be able to breathe again, and to take the time to look around at her surroundings. The set-up was beautiful, she had to admit. It somehow all went together, like two halves... kind of like these two, in a way.
She began to idly spin the glass around in circles, and gave a tilt of her head. She was about to eat something other than stolen apples, and the thought was exciting, to say the least.

After a few minutes, Nova hangs up.
"Danny, can you make two carbonaras after? Miss Judy's coming by to pick-up in an hour." she'd call out before heading back to the front.
She'd glance at Leif, but, otherwise let her have some time to herself. If she needed anything, Nova was around.

Leif fell into her typical silence for a few moments longer, before finally letting her gaze return to Nova.
"Do you guys have regulars here already?" she asked with a little half-smile.

She starts to prep dishes, cutlery and boxes, nodding at Leif's question.
"Oh yes. They're the only reason we're still standing." Nova chuckles.
"Word of mouth is really important, but we've lost one or two customers over me being a Qi user."

Leif's gaze darted back up to Nova's ears, and she nodded. They would probably be pretty difficult to hide.
"How many people around here are against Metas?" She asked, curiously.

Nova walks over to grab the dish, setting it down at the table.
"I guess it's half and half. Supposedly some people think we're a prophecy and here for a reason. Others think we're monsters." she shrugs.
"Anything to drink?"

Prophecy? This was the first time she had heard THAT one. At least... the first time in a long time. She settled back in her seat and began to eat the curry.
The first bite made her pause. It had been so long since she had had any good food, and she couldn't decide if she wanted to devour it all in seconds, or eat it slowly and savor it. She made a soft noise of approval before taking another bite.
