Spike twists quickly to try and intercept the backhanded swing, knowing full well a swing at full force like that could of taken him off his feet, before Katsu stopped. Looking at the small cut as well He would let out a breath of relief.
"That was brutal honestly. You are really skilled, it was hard finding an opportunity to do even that much. Had it been a duel to the death, I don't think I would be able to call the winner."

Spike would sheath his Katana and begin wrapping his crystal sword and smile big.
"Do you mind if I inspect your blade?"

Spike would take the sword gratefully. By the handle he would turn and give it a few test swings.
"Woof, that'd make you tired for sure. Is this a traditionally made 63 blade?"
He would ask as he ran a hand along the blade's side.

Spike would quickly shake his head and nervously chuckle when Yanmei asked if there was anything wrong.
"No, not at all. It is finely crafted, I'm just not used to a longer blade. More metal makes it heavier. That's all."
He'd grab his crystal blade and hand it over to Katsu.
"Give that a few swings. It's just slightly lighter than metal, but it hides a secret."
Modified Crystal Bokken: +13 Energy
Three times a thread Spike may conjure up a blade of energy from the handle for one post to surround the Crystal Blade. He can heal himself for 75% of the damage that he inflicts with this energy blade.

Spike would nod.
"The crystals feed off the natural energy of life in your body. Not anything that could effect your health or natural life span, but enough that if you concentrate."
He'd point at the water.
"Concentrate with your grip on the handle. Visualize an enemy. The enemy has injured you, allow the blade to get revenge for you."
Yanmei would feel Spike's own Qi within the blade since his was the last energy to pass through.

Then, with a strong grip on the handle, he swipes in a quick figure-8 pattern into the water!

Katsu's life force would activate the energy blade and fly forth from the slash into the water burning the water away as a beam of his slash cut forth through the waves, creating steam. Afterwards the blade would die off to just the usual crystal blade.
"Wow, haven't seen it do that yet."
He'd go to hand Katsu back his weapon holding it horizontal like he had, before waiting to grab his own crystal sword back.
"Would you be offended if I made a crystal sword for you? I made this one, and would like to make you one as a celebration of our duel and meeting."
