As the all gave their answer Rai was intrigued, they all had a different view but all had good points, he disagreed with none of them finding many points they made reasonable. These men were definitely the kind of comrades that are good to have in great supply.
"Guess its my turn to ask a question."
He would look at each of them as he asked.
"All of you are different in your own way yet you are allies by the respect you have for each other. My question is simple, what did the others do to earn your respect?"

Mathew grinned and to hold back a small chuckle at this question. Not because it was bad, but because this was a stroke each other's ego question. This was going to be good.
"I will let you two go first on this one."
He wanted to hear this.

Kyrie had plenty more questions that were strictly kept in mind, in order, but she let Rai ask his own. Yes...feeding egos.
Just what they needed in an already testosterone-filled room.
But information, knowledge of any kind, was power, and Kyrie would be damned if she didn't take away all she could from this.

David thought to himself a moment.
"Leon is easy. At the time, it was his sheer strength, and his love for combat. The man was a legend before I made my own way, and he was the first in over three hundred fights to defeat me in battle. We will have a rematch soon to correct that."
A grin. Eagerness. But not now.
"Mathew was a little more complicated for me. We are opposites in many ways, and view certain aspects of life differently. But he keeps his word, has one hell of a right hook and doesn't shy away from who he is and what he wants. Keeping true to yourself is more than enough to earn respect from me."

Leon chuckled to himself and layed back down letting David answer, and since Mathew said he would wait it was obviousely his turn.
"Welp, David's thurst and search for knowledge and power kept me interested, but when he broke his chains and pushed himself, even knowing he wouldn't be able to win, and faught... Thats when he earned my respect."
Leon would stay in his spot and pause.
"Mathew... Earned my respect in a different way. He was always calculated, his plans where masked by plans, covered up in a plan, showing no plan when the plan had nothing to do with that in the first place. His tendancy to deal with problems face to face though, and never backing down from anyone or anything."

And now that his ego had been stroked he would answer. All smiles and good cheer. Who didn't like hearing how awesome they were?
"Leon was easy. We have been through everything together since the days of the Reign of Blood. Allies, enemies, and everything else. I could always count on Leon when I needed him. No matter what. I respect that dedication and loyalty to friendship."
Especially when he was the one it helped out.
"As for David. That one is also easy. I don't agree with some of his views, but he is dedicated to them. He stands by and fights for his convictions, and is strong enough to do so. No matter what. I respect that."

Rai would nod satisfied with the answer, he now had a better understanding on where the Dragons stood. He would then turn to Kiyr and lower his head slightly as a sign that he was done and she could continue whenever she wished.

Well, despite the ego stroking having been done, the information was still relevant and beneficial.
"Mathew. David. Who is your enemy?" She blinked after looking at each of them in turn, and then looked to Leon. "Leon. Will strength of will alone last without motivation?"

David stared.
His enemy?
Very broad question.
"My enemies are those who threaten my life and the lives of those I care about."
Simple answer. And he didn't give a damn who thought it was cheesy, or spineless. He would rip the head off of anyone in this room if they posed a threat to himself, or Olesya, or delilah.
And he would sleep like a baby after.

David kind of, but not really, missed the point to the question; he took it literally, which was fine. It just showed he was straightforward, and might not necessarily look for deception and hidden meanings. But perhaps she was wrong, that remained to be seen. She nodded at their responses, and settled her eyes on Leon.
With his frown, they glinted and gleamed slightly.
Even though he didn't directly respond to her question, she had her answer. A tiny, ghost of a smile curved her lips before it vanished. She took it, for now, as a compliment.
"My question for all of you, now, is: what motivation is important enough to draw you to unite with one another? You all have different ideals, different ways of working, different ways of having respect for another."
What bound them together?

"Practicality."
Simple one word answer. Not a motivation, but the only reason he was working with Blaze.

Leon looked to Mathew when he answered. A slight nod as he decided to give his answer as well.
"When we first banded together it was actually simple practicality. I wouldn't call it banding together either. We where all the top dogs in New York, we got together decided to make this... Group of us elite and powerful individuals. For me, it just felt right."

David shook his head.
So deep. God, these were questions you asked of people in their seventies, not twenties. He took a literal translation from the question, to be sure, but in reality they had taken a literal translation of his answer, or so he assumed.. The question to ask in response to him was- who could threaten him? Or harm the ones he cared for? Those with an insatiable lust for power, obviously.
That was what he hoped to make them think about- that none of their answers got a real response didn't phase him though. Either they would see what he put out there, or they wouldn't. The reality was, they were stuck in a room with the three strongest men anyone knew of, and obviously had the same lust for power they did- heck, it wasn't likely any of them would even consider that one might not always crave ruling others.
David was more worried about it consuming them, than anything. You could have your cake and eat it too. He was obvious proof of that. He fought for what he felt was right, and moved on from there. Though he thought these questions were... Intriguing, he wanted to make sure they made use of their time wisely.
Still, he wouldn't interrupt. He had sworn to help train them, and when his time came, he would.
"Three for three."
