Interview with a Dragon (invite)

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kiyr moved on with her next question, leaving David's own musings for himself while her mind clicked away with other things and ideas of questions to ask.

This was likely a question that would please them all.

"What does being a Dragon mean to you?"

Another general question.

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew blinked.

"It means to be the very best." He started to sing in the pokemon theme tune.

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would listen and when Mathew started he'd continue.

"Like no one ever was."

[David B.]

"To beat them all is our real test, to train you is our cause..."

God, finally. Something less verbose.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Dragon five."

Mathew laughed and hit the ground with his hand. A stone hand rising up in front of both Leon and David primed for a high five.

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would give a high five with a static explosion of awesome lightning.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie smiled, shaking her head.

Well, that worked. She might have even hummed along, but shielded her eyes from the bright electricity arcing through the air. She waited to ask her next question...until they were all settled again.

"What value do you place on people, as a generalization?"

It was asked casually.

[Mr. Kaar]

"I don't care."

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew shrugged.

"Society has a value, and people have a value on an individual basis. It's impossible to place a specific value on people as a whole though."

[David B.]

David slapped his hand to the stone enthusiastically, wind spiralling around it.

She asked another- he was all smiles before, but now he seriousd.

"If your speaking of general society, I value life evenly. I hold none to be higher than the rest, within context. If your talking on a personal basis- if I had to choose between the life of someone I didn't know and someone I cared about deeply, I would choose according to attachment. As would most."

[Kyrie Blaze]

'Well that would save me from asking that question, perhaps... I probably still could.' Kyrie mused to herself.

She nodded, and decided that she would still ask this next question to the trio. She had a feeling she pinned down David's answer, maybe Mathew's, but Leon was a little bit of a wild card.

"And what does family mean to you?"

Make no mistake. Though this question was just as casual as the previous question, this one was important to her.

[Mathew Amtrum]

He thought for a moment, not giving a glance at the others. He knew he had people he cared about. People like Bastille. Even Helter and Adrian. Certainly Leon.

"I would burn the world for my family. They matter more than most things in this world, if not all."

[David B.]

He let out a sigh.

"Depends on who the word pertains to. We dragons could be considered a family, albeit a pretty fucked up one. Though the premise still fits. Family is a common bond. Something you can count on no matter what, I guess."

He'd flip Matt off, following his response.

Didn't need the prick thinking he was going soft. Hell, at least he hadn't started making wind unicorns or something....

Mathew flips off Blaze back.

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon thought on it, her question was one Leon himself struggled with.

"Family are those close enough for me to trust, and those that trust me. Those that I have mutual faith in depending on."
