So she had a few options, but everyone seemed to be off doing something or other, leaving Tina alone with a kind of very dead phone, a bunch of questions, and a thorn in her side because now she wanted a rematch and had to wait. RUDE.
So when David didn't answer his door and she couldn't find him inside, she went asking. Some people ignored her, some almost fled in terror, but eventually she got that he was at the training grounds. She'd been there not too long ago, but she was also pretty sure he wasn't creating explosions. Bummer.
So she'd go wandering through the training area until she found him, the phone in one of her many pouches as she went!

As she moved in the direction she'd been told David was, she'd find it was a mountainous area, one with signs in front.
"Do not enter lightly. Monsters ahead, anti-kill security inactive."

Huh. That was interesting. Also, something Tina actually paid attention. Congratulations, Cabal! Thankfully, she has her boomstick and Leyak, so she figures she's good for now.
Tina heads in, peeping around before heading deeper into anti-kill territory!

As Tina started up the small path into the mountains, she'd hear some growling. Looking up, a massive mountain lion the size of a small car (far bigger than a normal one) was staring down at her, drool dripping from it's lips as it roared at her. Oh yeah, she was about to get bent.

Kitty! Except kitty could wreck her week. Retreat may actually be an option buzzing in her brain, but for now Tina summons Leyak!
"Heeeeey Leyak, we've got a big one!" She makes ready to make this cat work for it.

Leyak jumped out, bones already popping mid air as it stared up at the monster.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh wild one...."
He giggled, then displayed his fangs, roaring at the wild cat, who roared back.
'It's hungry hungry! Might wanna go go go!!!!'

'Fiiine.' Sometimes, she had to admit that running away to survive another day. Not like anyone was here to see, anyway.
Tina chooses to get Leyak in his steed form so they can go, go, go! Which means now she has to find a way to get stronger than that cat!

Leyak did indeed and off they rocketed, the big cat close behind, keeping full pace with Leyak.
"Make wall go boom, bring down rocks!"
He rushed closer to the mountain rock faces so she could do it!

Tina would brace herself to reach out and slam her palm against eh wall as Leyak brought them in close, aiming just beyond their reach to hit the cat instead!

The explosion worked, stones crashing down from the mountain and hitting the wild cat.
And Leyak.
The explosion was too strong and blew both of them off the side of the mountain to tumble down a ravine into a large cavernous area. Bones snapped, the wild cat getting crushed under the stones (+1 exp) while Leyaks leg snapped like a Twig.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH OUCHIES OUCHIES!"

The wild cat may have been crushed, but Tina was still trying to re-orient herself after the rocks took them tumbling down. She scrambled off of Leyak at his cries of pain.
"Shit. Shit, shit, shit." She checked to make sure she hadn't any broken bones either. Cuts, bruises, and a few gashes, but at least one of them made it out with their limbs intact.
Also, her friend was hurt. Tina would go to take a look at it with a frown, holding his arms still if he flailed.
"Mmmm, I can't heal people." She pursed her lips with a frown. "You probably keep damage if you go into a crystal, huh?"

He rigorously shook his head.
"I don't! But i can't come back out for a while, or I won't be healed, nope n-nope..."
He let out a whine...
"........what is that?"
David stood at the mouth of the ravine, the body of a wild cat four times the size of the one Tina just killed being dragged along the earth, it's neck fat clutched in his fist. It was at least the size of a bus, and David proceeded to chuck it off to the side, the ground shaking a little as it hit and rolled.
What had little Tina been hiding....?

"Good." Tina nodded, halfway to telling Leyak to get into the crystal when a familiar voice boomed and filled the cavern. She spun on her heels while still crouching, staring up at David as the walls shook from the cat being thrown.
"He is my best friend." She scowled as she stood, brushing the dust from her clothes with as much dignity as she could muster. "And he's hurt. Is there anything we can use to help him, or not?" She didn't like her friend being referred to as a thing.

Thankfully, he hadn't referred to him as a thing, and had yet to analyze him fully.
"You have befriended a changeling?" He walked over, crouching near Leyak- who promptly bit it's needle-like arms into Davids arm, blood spurting up around his flesh and dropping off his elbow. Leyak did not like Dragonses. David did not appear to cringe in pain or shrink away, he just stared at Leyak.
"There is no need for that. I just want to look at your leg."

"No, I made nice with the monster under your desk. Yes we're friends!" She rolled her eyes and shook her head at David's remark, shrugging it off. "Is that what they're called?" She was so proud of Leyak getting feisty, though she figured part of it was because he was in pain, too.
"It's okay, Leyak." She flopped down on the other side of her friend near his head. "Let him look. If he does anything else we don't like, you can go into the crystal and not deal with him."
