Tina's eyes narrowed further at the insult, lips pulling back in something between a fierce grin and a grimace.
"Weak? Weak?" Oh hell no.
Patting her head was unacceptable. She was a princess and a badass, after all. She swatted David's hand away with one hand and jab a finger at him.
"No. Bad Dragon."

David would catch her hand as she swatted.
"No. Bad child. You need a time out."
He'd kick her full in the chest, sending her flying backward to smash into the rock face.
"Maybe our resident princess needs a lesson in humility."
Yet....if that was the case, why was he smiling?

Unfortunately, after the last few fights she's had, Tina tends to rely on her exploding things on contact when people try to punch or kick her - including David. It was a small one for now.
She fell back against the wall with a dazed blink.
"Maybe try not petting me like a dog."

"Maybe try not talking to me like I am one."
Unlike the others she made go boom, David's foot was barely singed, smoke lifting off it.
"And I'm gonna need you to do more than talk. I said you're weak, prove me wrong."

She shrugged where she was. It was what it was. Whether or not he had a point, she didn't say, but at the challenge of being weak, she stood up and grabbed her nightstick from where it was.
"'Kay." She'd charge at him, ducking to the side to try and punch him in the side, but also not expecting to get far. He was fast if he'd gotten to the cavern already; it was time to see just what he thought little girls could do.

David turned and caught her fist.
So she got that far, obviously. What would she do with it?

She'd twist the wrist he captured and pulled back, trying to free it! Her other hand would strike at the same side's shoulder with her lightsaber boom saber!

Special: Boom Boom Night Saber (+4 Eng): Tina can charge this boom boom saber with her Qi, giving it a supercharged Bam! For every post that Tina doesn't make something go boom, she can charge the nightsaber with her Qi. Add +1 charge counter to the nightsaber up to a maximum of her energy. If striking with intent to make boom boom stick go bam, she can stack the energy stored on top of the damage dealt from the explosion. On top of that, it's now color coded like a lightsaber, turning weapon contact damage to energy damage! The activation lasts for four posts.

She'd find her fist was caught in a fucking vice, and while it didn't hurt, there was no way it was getting loose.
He caught the boom stick as well, the explosion blasting dirt and dust around them. It cleared after a couple seconds, David standing there uninjured, his Sky armor having taken the brunt of the damage.
"Pretty good, I suppose."
He seemed entirely unimpressed, despite the small smile.

She was stuck, but not out of options. Her eyes narrowed to slits as she ducked and grabbed a rock, bouncing back up as it started to glow along with the crystal in her chest. Though all David would see of the latter is a purple light shining beneath her clothes.
Then the rock in her hand would begin to glow as she slammed to rock into his stomach, or any point of contact!
_______________
Chest: Crystal of Fused Might (+3 Defense, +3 energy) - Once per thread, Tina can stack her own energy on top of her current energy for a single attack. Once depleted, she must store energy in the crystal once per thread for at least three threads before it can be used again. Cannot stack twice per thread. She has a smooth, golfball-sized purple stoned surface on the right side of her chest.
Tina's Bloodline!: Tina is capable of adding Radiation to her explosions. She can make clean or full on fallout blizzard scales of radiation. Clean radiations adds +25 to damage calculations of her bombs. Nuclear Fallout causes 1/2 her energy in damage to anyone in the area of 20 ft of the explosion for four posts.
Gem Damage: 47 Clean Radiation: 52 Qi Uses: 3/10

David let her, tossing the boom stick lazily off to the side as she slammed the rock against his stomach. Despite the intense explosive damage.....she'd find her fist was still clenched, and David began to walk forward against the hand that was now pressing stone dust against his bare stomach, his shirt having been blown off to show barely red skin, like a sun burn. Her feet would begin sliding back through the dirt as David's hand (the one that was holding the nightstick) would snap forward and flick her in the forehead, his other hand releasing the clenched fist so that the flick to her face could knock her further back. (25 damage from flick)
"You've sat on a pristine perch all your life, reveling in being a badass little princess, haven't you? I know what that's like, to feel like the top notch in a rung."
His smile was gone now, replaced by a disappointed frown.
"Takes something hard to bring someone like us down to reality....doesn't it?"

All the effort for nothing but a bit of raw skin and torn fabric. Tina frowned, scrambling to get out of the firm grip that held her in place as her small form was pushed back like a rag doll. She stumbled back with the flick, glaring at him as the bruise began to form on her face. Her hands clenched into fists at his words, assuming she was top notch, a pristine perch. That hard things brought you back to reality.
"Pristine perch? Yeah right." She scoffed. "You don't know anything."

"Don't I?"
He would gesture at the school, the building far in the distance.
"Educate me then, princess. What do you think I am oblivious of?"

"You were abandoned by your father, have a dead mother, lived on the streets and think you stood at the top because you were the strongest or the loudest. Or because no challenge was too great for what you were capable of. You think because someone important is your dad, some part of you is royalty but being one of who knows how many of his kids, that's not exactly a feat in and of itself, so you think fighting in wars and making your own name will craft your story into something greater than anyone else could ever hope to dream."
He'd stare.

"I'm eighteenth in line, thank you very much!" she snapped. Her cheeks flushed in anger, shaking with the emotions that boiled up as he continued to pinpoint her past.
"I was the best at the streets. I was in charge. My mother died protecting me - and I saw her lead the charge that killed her." Her nostrils flared as her cheeks heated, voice going lower as she continued. "Or the part where I blew up my own home to keep raiders out after they kept trying to steal and break in. Or how about the fact that my father doesn't care if I'm here, because he sent me here not for breaking things, but his things.
"So yes, fighting will make me greater than him or anything they think. Better than I am now. But DON'T tell me I'm sitting pretty on a pristine pedestal."
