Leyak growled but slowly release David's arm, more blood spurting out before air proceeded to fuse into the wounds, sealing them shut.
Wonderful. New scars.
His hands would gently grip Leyaks hip, the Storm Dragon humming. "Several microfractures and a full bone break. He'll need some time to heal." Standing, he drew a knife as he walked to the cat they killed. He skinned part of it's shoulder off, then flayed the flesh and peeled the meat, leaving only the leather skin. He walked over and wrapped it around the leg, using a stick to splint it.
"Why were you up here? Only high tier students or supervisors should be on this mountain..."

Tina gave Leyak's shoulder a friendly pat as he slowly released David's arm, knowing full well he wasn't happy with the decision but doing it anyway. She didn't tell him the other part of her plan if David tried to trick them; since it hadn't happened, it wasn't necessary.
"Looking for you," she said with a shrug. "There was a rock slide when we turned to go back, and now here we are."

He continued fixing up Leyaks leg.
"Looking for me? Why?" He scowled. "You didn't blow up my new door, did you?"
He was quite fond of it.

"No!" She gasped. "That, sir, is a Tina original. I would never blow up my own art." Her voice trilled with a fake British accent and rolling Rs.
"Besides, you're old, right? You know about old tech and stuff? Cause we need to find out what's on a phone."

He cocked a brow, giving a little smile.
"Old as dirt, yes."
Geez, she had no tact. Kinda made her endearing.
"A phone....?" His brow furrowed. Very few people had those anymore, and they were powered by Qi these days. He finished with the leg and stood.
"He can go back inside, now."

His response made her grin, nodding in agreement as he speculated over the idea of a phone. She nodded to Leyak.
"Alright buddy, get some rest. You earned it." She beamed with pride at Leyak. He was injured, but thanks to his idea, they'd taken down the wild cat. Turning her attention back to David, she nodded and pulled out the phone in question.
"This was used on a jerk that was roaming campus and killing people. He made a call to someone to get away and disappeared, but the phone kind of died." Mangled.

David hummed.
"I see. This was on the training grounds?"
It had to have been, or he'd have known. Reaching out, he took the phone, which he proceeded to pull apart into hundreds of pieces with the air. All the parts that fit together perfectly were floating there. He brought out glasses, putting them on and blinking as they turned on, analyzing the parts as he looked it over.
"Interesting. This is territory 70 tech." Parts began to grind as David used his Qi to bend and shift them back into place.
"You say he attacked us? Was he where you got that changeling?"

"Uh-huh." Tina sprawled out, leaning back on her hands as she watched David work. It was actually interesting to watch, at least for a little bit.
"Yeah, apparently it came from 74 or something." She nodded. "The dude fried a guy and had a girl killed, but we brought her back." She shrugged. "That's where I met Leyak."

"Seventy Four?" The parts stopped, and he turned to look at her.
"You sure? How do you know?"

"I think so? Leyak said his leader was the doctor from MedRec City." Why did he stop?
"Why?"

David shook his head.
"Just...someone attacked me and Arianna in Pier 14 the other day. They had patches from 74 on them. Seems they are making more moves than expected."
He continued...until after a few minutes, the phone was put back together, good as knew. Even the screen had been refused back to normal.
"It'll work, but you'll need to find a Qi battery small enough to charge it."
He would take the phone back, holding it thoughtfully.
"I don't normally assist students in this sort of way." He'd offer it back to her. "You take it, you'll owe me a favor."

"Really? They got to the jail?" What lax security, dude. She rolled up onto her feet in a single motion as he continued to work on the phone.
"Come to think of it, it wasn't the training grounds. Some guy grabbed and dragged me down the hill. We were still on Cabal grounds." She reached for the phone and paused, eyes narrowing at the mention of owing the Dragon.
"What kind of favor?"

"Hm. Then I was off site...in which case, that is more worrisome."
It meant his schedule was leaked. So perhaps 74 had been infiltrating for a while now and they were only just catching on.
"I mean any favor I want or need at a given moment. You just asked me to rebuild a phone for you, and I did so very kindly."
He stared.
"You didn't expect something for nothing.......did you?"

"No, but I figured you'd have an idea of -something- you'd want." Another eyeroll as Tina took back the phone with a quick motion, putting it carefully away.
"Sounds like you got homework of your own to do, old man."

"Oh I do, but you're far too weak for me to ask it of you now."
He smirked. Then, to add insult to injury....he'd pat her on the head.
