Spike got out of the open air public baths with a kimono and hakama and dragged his tired, injured ass limping and everything back to the house after his usual run with the sunrise. He'd get in the house and start making hot cocoa for everyone. He decided to leave the bloody baseball bat outside.

Mathew was already up and outside of the house, leaning against the wall with his arms folded.

AT this point, Evelyn's gotten used to the idea of early morning training. She would head down into the kitchen, pulling her hair up as she went. The house was oddly quiet and still, which lead her to look outside and see Spike and her father there already.

Oh.. Oh boy. She knows that look. Evelyn slipped outside, noticing the injuries on Spike with a frown.

[Sage Sudeki]

"I have good news and I have bad news."

Spike would limp with his baseball bat to Mathew holding three cups of hot chocolate.

"Which you want first?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Bad."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would hand a cup to Mathew then take a few steps to the side.

"When I went out for my morning run I was attacked by two Katashi. So I've been found. Again. Good news is I killed both of them and learned they are at least afraid of you."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Of course they are."

He'd take the mug and follow him inside.

"So much for the 260 magic. Unless they followed Rai and your Sister..."

Annoying if so.

[Sage Sudeki]

"I... Don't know much about two-sixty magic, so I'd assume they followed the obvious Sudeki's."

Spike would admit as he made his way inside with Mathew.

"Figured it best you know as soon as it was over. They didn't send two anybodies to gauge my ability either. They sent two ringers they assumed would bring me in no problem... Which they almost did at a few points."

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Evelyn follows the others inside!

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Almost?"

He clicked his tongue.

"Why is that?"

[Sage Sudeki]

"I thought I was only fighting one of them. The other hid his presence from me. They had oddly strong gear, perfect for capture. They made materials that were measured to be able to hold me at my previous strongest point. Then the second guy had his mouth all sectioned up to be able to use a mouth blast that combined every element I know of in a vortex of hell."

Spike would sip from his cocoa.

"They under estimated me, is what it comes down to."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Good. I'm glad to hear you have improved so much then."

Something was working at least.

First his sister, and now two people Spike himself declared weren't just regular goons or hunters. Either things were getting more serious, or they were just finally getting to that point. Either he had improved that much, or they were testing the waters to see if Spike had backup. Which, of course, he did.

"No one you know, either?" She looked from Spike to Mathew, assuming the former didn't since he used descriptions.

[Sage Sudeki]

"Only thing I know for sure if they were both Katashi Clan members."

John would say sipping his cocoa again. He appreciated the praise from Mathew, but wouldn't comment on it for now, just give a nod off affirmation.

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Bunch of sick pricks."

He'd say rolling his eyes.

"We should be moving on then. I got two places in mind we could head next."

He'd click his tongue, mentally weighing the options.
