"I'm sure we'd both like you keeping it." She reached her fingers out to the circle, feeling the flow of the qi running through it. Different than her own, as expected. Arianna's had been different, and so had everyone else's that she'd felt. She traced her fingers over the lines of the circle, attempting to pull the energy that flowed through it. She could feel it pull towards her, building as it went. It warmed her skin until it resisted, a frown tugging at her lips as she lost hold of the energy before she could completely separate it from the circle.

The frown intensified, but she didn't say anything or pull back. After another moment, Evelyn would try again, success literally in her hand as she pulled back. The energy thrummed and flowed in her hand, taking a moment to process how it felt when it was physical without any given form. Looking up at Spike from the glow circling in her palm as she lifted her hand to take a bite. There was a small spark that felt like a rejuvenating jolt to her system, refreshing and strange, but not unpleasant.

"You were right." She blinked. "I don't think I could actually describe that to someone."

Spike watched turning his Seikatsugan off once she had eaten the energy. At her remark Spike would nod with a grin.

"Well it's at least useful, should we need it out there in the Deadlands. In case rest is not an option."

[Evelyn Amtrum]

"Definitely." Eve found herself grinning in return with a soft chuckle. The place were The War never ended; who knew what they'd find or lack up there?

"Sooo now that you're officially part of the family, there's something we need to do," she advised, grin still in place as she slung an arm over his shoulder.

[Sage Sudeki]

"Oh? If it involves, alcohol, nudity, or violence, I'm in."

Spike used to use the same line, but say he had to ask his dad cause he wasn't old enough for anything rated R.

[Evelyn Amtrum]

"You're in luck." Well, she had his vote of approval. Technically. "On the alcohol, at least."

And, arm still slung over his shoulder as she guided him along.

It was time for Spike's initiation.
