Mathew continued to wait.

Pother than voicing her agreement at the tournament, she let Spikensoeak with her father. For all they trained together and shared the same space, she didn’t know that much about him. Now seemed a good a tie as any to learn more, including the communication he had with qi beasts.

Nodding when her father mentioned consuming energy. But knowing she could and doing it were two different things.

Curiosity got the better of her as she would try to sense the energy of the other two s they worked, not throwing her own into the mix at this point but wondering what changes she might sense or feel.

Spike takes a second of holding the Aura and inspecting it, before bringing it to his mouth and chomping it down.

Spike was ready for it to be odd, maybe even gross tasting, but it actually tasted pretty good, and he felt better.

He felt his bruises and limp begin to fade as well.

"That is... Unexpected and hard to explain."

"It gets easier with time."

[Sage Sudeki]

It would take Sage a considerable amount of contemplation before his own brain worked out a hypothesis.

"I take it, that it has to be an outside source. Eating my own Aura would yield me nothing."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"If there is a way to eat your own aura and get something from it, it is not something I have discovered. The closest thing to that I know would cause possibly irrepreble harm. I would not advise it."

[Sage Sudeki]

"I'd rather know it than not. So I don't do it thinking it a good idea."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"For decades I've put my own energy into a small figurine of a dragon. A power source of my creation. I could consume it, but it would likely kill me or worse from the Qi radiation within from so many years of infusion."

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Well, there went that idea. Evelyn remembered the statue her father mentioned. So eating her own constructs in a bind was probably out of the question.

Spike frowned but understood what Mathew was saying. Powerful object it may be, but folly in the end should it be consumed even by the appropriate person. He would turn to look at Evelyn.

"Whats that mean for you? What's your Qi?"

[Evelyn Amtrum]

"It means eating my own creations isn't a good idea." She nodded at Spike as she considered her answer. "I can shape raw energy and manipulate it, but at that point it's my own qi added to it, so I imagine it would be like the dragon statue." She looked over to Mathew for confirmation to make sure she was on the right track.

"Raw qi energy though, thtat's fair game."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"You could likely consume Qi infused in other objects but not the objects themselves. It is something you will have to experiment with though. I will leave you both to ponder what this knowledge can do for you and to remind you that this is a secret that most do not know. Treat it accordingly."

And with that Mathew would leave them to mull it over and find what felt right with their own abilities, and how they would go about doing it.

Spike thought about it for a few moments before activating his Seikatsugan. His right eye however would take on a blue magical circle as if etched into the blacks around his golden iris, before a flouting, spinning magic circle were in front of Evelyn.

"Usually any attack that passes through this circle is made stronger, but it is physically there... Could you eat that?"

[Evelyn Amtrum]

It was certainly a thought. Eve gave a low, thoughtful hum at Mathew's advice, nodding after a moment as she considered. Her qi dealt with energy - raw and moving, ephemeral. It didn't have actual form until she gave it one. Siphoning the energy off of an object could probably work.

The floating circle caught her attention, her eyes tracing the lines within before looking over to Spike. She could sense the energy of it somewhat, shaped without a shell or retainer.

"I might be able to. It makes sense." She raised a brow at Spike. "I don't mind trying if you don't." She was assuming he had no problem if he summoned the circle on a silver platter, already walking towards it and letting him say otherwise now if he chose.

"As long as you eat the circle and not my eye, it's all good."
