Eve waited for her father to finish speaking her mind, letting her focus rest on him for the moment as he debated.

Spike more or less nodded in agreement with them being freaks and pricks.

"What are the choices?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

"We can try and gain access to Territory two. A place that will likely be difficult to infiltrate for the uninvited. Or we can get lost in the Deadlands to the North."

Where the war still raged.

"The Deadlands are both safer and far more dangerous. Territory 2 will likely see us taken care of but watched."

And that was the crux of it. He didn't like being watched.

"It sounds like both would give anyone following us or interested a hard time." Evelyn nodded as she considered the options. Territory Two would give them a place of security around people who idealized the Dragons, or at least, what they were. She didn't know about now, or what might change their minds.

"Would the Deadlands be safer for the same reason? Danger to us, danger to anyone else?"

Spike knew about the deadlands. From time to time a new fighter would come through the gladiator circuit having been picked up from wherever. He didn't know anything about Territory two, but the idea of being watched reminded him of the crowds looking down into the cage pits where the fighters were kept.

"Why would Territory Two be watching us?"

[Mathew Amtrum]

Mathew smirked.

"Why wouldn't they? Wars brewing and a Dragon and two Dragonspawn arriving at their doorstep. Wouldn't you keep eyes on them?"

Spike would frown, that wasn't what he was asking, but if that was information Mathew didn't want to share he wouldn't push. There was a lot to learn about the world, it'd come with time.

"Fair enough."

[Evelyn Amtrum]

"Yeah." Eve shifted her weight to one side, crossing her arms over her chest as they talked it out. Whatever their reasons or desires, they'd be cared for, but that would also mean owing whoever else was around.

"Well, I'm down for a trip up north."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Then pack warm and rest up. The war never ended up there."

"Maybe we should do some preparation. Eve and I have done some working together, and I'm sure you have done at least some training with Eve... But I am still unfamiliar with working with you."

[Evelyn Amtrum]

Back from before she could remember, then. Evelyn nodded, turning her attention back to Spike when he spoke. He wasn't wrong; it wasn't quiet now for them, before they plunged into a world that kept on with the war.

She cocked her head to the side and raised a brow, curious what he had in mind.

"What did you have in mind?"

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike scratched his head.

"I know you wanted to set up the tournament with the Knights... Maybe we can instead have a Battle as a good bye. Three on three. Us versus whoever they got to get some experience working together."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"I am sure I can set that up."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would nod.

"... I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to fight some Qi beasts as well."
