History Information

"Jonathan Winter's" History [Made-Up History]:

Life was to be difficult.

But he never complained.

His mother, Linda Winters, had died, giving birth to him. It was her choice. Mark Winters wept bitterly over his son's birth, the nurses and doctors leaving in silence, as the pool of blood was to be left there, on what was to be the happiest day of the Winters' family's lives. In the room, only the incessent whining of the baby, that Mark held in his arms, that he cursed silently, was to be heard, save the pitter-patter of tears that trailed out, as they left the hospital.

It was to be a brutal and abusive five years.

Treated more like an 'it', Mark kept Jonathan around, mostly as a tool or as a sponge to take out his frustrations on, never being fully able to get over the loss of his wife. At the age of six, two weeks before he was to start kindergarten, having been delayed a year, to 'grow up' more, Mark came home, absolutely sober, but absolutely angry. With a hammer, he began smashing it into the walls of his own two-story house, making Jonathan run and hide silently, watching from a distance, as Mark had evidentially come home 'early'. Evidentially, as police would later find out, Mark was 'fired' earlier that day, from his corner cubicle, and hadn't taken it too well. He was sentenced to thirty years in prison and a check-in for anger management. But not before 'it' happened.

Rage a fluster, screaming in German, as he always had, mixing in English with German, for the most part, the way Jonathan had learned how to talk, watching in silence, as silently, he locked onto Jonathan, and charged him, swinging wildly.

A fatal blow.

Almost.

..From that day forward, the boy known as Jonathan Winters was mentally well, even in spite of the fracture to his skull... but, his ability to speak English.. became stuttered. Only his German remained intact. Lucky, he had not lost anything else, nor did he seem to face too much trauma. In spite of abusive beatings, Jonathan had taken well to acceptance to matters at hand. For half-a-year, he joined the orphanage. But, vocalizing as best he could to be in the military, his mind already adapting to the matter at hand, and more for the reason that it was a boring life, and all he had to look forward to in the Orphanage were bad memories, the Orphanage obliged.

Military School.

It wasn't the greatest, and even there, he was picked on, a lot, but, it helped with his social life, of what he permitted of it. He managed to gain some social skills, but, most kids, at the age of eight, of whom he was friendly with, dropped out. From there, he's been growing up, and has only, recently, at the closing of the Orphanage, and with no more money to fund himself to go to Military School, has transferred to Public High School... to start a new life..

"It can be said that our dear little Z.E.B. was born out of wedlock to his Chinese mother and his Caucasian father, over in China. Nothing spectacular or out of the blue from this, except for his rather violent temper tantrums. So violent, in fact, that it is rumored that he terrified his mother. And growing up was much worse. His soft-hearted father didn't know how to contain him. Following this, the parents came to terms with this and sent him to a monk school very early on, to spare the other children."

"Initially, he did struggle in his new environment, attempting to bring about his selfish ways of acting into such a peaceful community. However, the skillful monks helped 'teach' the boy to calm down. Forcibly. Corporal punishment was first induced here. Focusing the boy's energies on martial arts, instead, they rank the risk of making him more powerful and incite a lust for power for him---but the monk's had faith. Initially, such desires did emerge from within the boy, but with much meditation (forced upon him), and given nothing else better to do, the boy did manage to calm down. Hope shined through. The boy turned eight, and was accompanied by two of his younger 'older brothers' as he termed them for escort."

"The boy's mother was sent to a mental ward, going into a coma, due to the beatings received while being raped, leaving the boy in full charge of his family's remaining 'wealth'. Promptly, the boy opted to leave the country, settling for the U.S.A.---Anywhere far away enough to leave that country. Settling into a foster family, his remaining funds were liquidated and added into the boy's new family's funding, to raise him into a proper young boy."

"Everyday, the boy, adjusting to his new environment, would come home everyday from a fight, usually bloodied up in some way, shape, or form. His foster parents were just as soft, if not softer then his original parents, forcing him to mature mentally a lot faster then he should have. Smiling at odd times, in particular when he was most beaten up. Still new to the country and still having just finished applying for his green card two years earlier, this boy departed eighth grade a much more mature boy---Though his personality would say otherwise. He knew how to care although he didn't trust easily. He knew how to fight thanks to the U.S.A.'s Corporal Punishment. He knew how to be strong from the memories that burned and haunted him. He knew he couldn't stay with this family and continue hurting them---He was damaged goods. His almost psychotic/sociopath tendencies was a huge burden to them."

One of the items that Emily had used to cosplay Amulet Dia in the Halloween Ball in her Senior Year. It originally had been part of the costumes that Miss Layla Clavering had given to her as a gift for her 18th Birthday. It suddenly developed a strange power and one of the gems embedded in the gold lock began to glow a faint red. Upon further observation, it apparently increases in power with every month - visualized by a brighter hue of the color it represents, or it changes colour; respectively - Red, Blue, Green, Yellow.
