She simply was at an end of the investigation. Or so she thought. When she would make plans they would falter. And now even Mathew who she wanted to talk to was awol.
And she was Qi less other than looking like a normie she was practically a normie. It has taken a few days for her to recover and the medical team has no idea what happened but it looked like she starved herself for weeks according to them. For the next round she was likely benched from the even but before it was rounding up she left her bed.
Their was a purpose for it maybe one that could wait but she was busy with it in her mind. It would've been bettet to come sooner but she felt she wasn't out of options yet. Unlike now.
She made it to the door and knocked firmly.

Having remembered Mathew's STRICT no surprise guests rule, Rai decided to go visit Mathew by himself first before bringing anyone along. As Rai approached he was surprised to see someone already there, a very... unique someone.
"Uhm, hello, and who might you be?"
Rai would ask politely, if it was one of Mathew's guests then Rai wanted to be sure to treat them respectfully.

She was startled by the sudden voice. Startled enough that a littke yip excaped her throat. With wide rose gold orbs her back was against the door.
"O-Oni! Onides Une of Cabal Academy!" she announced in a hurry to identify herself so not to cause confusion ir be accused of trespassing. She breathed but arched a thick brow creasing as it squished around the base of her horn. Her lips parted and a finger raised. A hint of recognition with her expression. Pointing the finger at him "Raikotsu Sudeki, Blood Dragon?" she'd exhale calming her nerves

Rai would raise an eyebrow in surprise. She must be a guest of Mathew's if she knew who he was. Rai would bow.
"Well met, Onides Une of Cabal Academy. I am Raikotsu Sudeki, you may call me Rai for short."
It was then that he would realize just how startled she was by his arrival.
"My apologies, I didn't mean to scare you. I was just surprised to see someone new out here after all this time."
Cocking his head to the side he would inspect Oni. Despite her draconian appearance she looked rather... timid. What business could she have with Mathew, he wondered. It wasn't likely someone like this was here to see- Wait.
"So, what brings you out this way to my Masters house?"

She looked more confused. She pointed toward the door. "Isn't this Barker's house?"

Goddammit Barker. Rai would sigh.
"No... Excuse me, real quick."
Rai would motion to the door behind her as he walked forward, if she moved out of the way Rai would immediately bang on the door loudly.
"BARKER! What twisted game are you playing now?!"
Turning back to Oni Rai would shake his head.
"This is the home of Mathew Amtrum, The Earth Dragon, my Mentor."

If it wasn't Barker's house, and Rai called it his Master's. Rai trained under Mathew. Her red tones turned pale and she was leaped up the wall thinking she would use her sticky fingers to climb until she was sure Mathew wouldnt be the one at he door but without Qi she just basically ran into the wall and slid down. Lightly scraping her arms. She would hiss at the tender pain she created for herself.
She instead ducked low and out of sight quickly.

Wide eyed Rai would watch as Oni, very comically, ran into the wall. It was like watching an old Loony Toons cartoon. Then she would appear to be hiding away from the door. He wondered why. Rai would just shrug and turn his attention back to the door. Mathew wasn't here, if he was then he would have detected them showing up and would have already been outside to meet them. Barker and Mitsoumi rarely ever left here though, so he was rather confident one of them was there.

Popping her head out and narrowing her eyes she stomped her feet right up to Barker and landed a foot tight where it should go, right where it landed last time she swung a foot at him.
"Mathew's house?! The guy you made me threaten! HIS HOUSE!?" she let out a frustrated... "Ooowoooh! Sometimes I suspect you are actually trying to get me killed!"
Granted her kick would gave really any omph to it since her strength was so minuscule compared to last time. All thanks to the candy, but she'll admit that was her choice and not apart of her accusations toward him.

Rai quickly moved out of the way of a very angry looking Oni, and then collapse on the floor laughing as she proceeded to kick him in the balls.
"Oh man, you can't say you didn't have that coming Barker."
Rai chuckled some more before finally standing back up and dusting himself off.
"Anyways, may we come in? What goodies have you baked today?"
Rai would ask motioning towards the inside of the house.

Barker was prepared this time! Able to move his knee in the way of the assault he backed off quickly.
"Excuse me, I said to just attack him. You escalated the situation. I would never let a valuable employee die over something like that."
Barker would seem hurt and offended as he turned to look away. However at Rai's account of the situation and request he would allow both to enter.
"Please take your shoes off at the door, I just mopped and dusted this place."
He would saunter off to the kitchen to retrieve his cookies.
"I have created chocolate ship cookies, with these white nuts Zack grew, very tasty with chocolate I may add."

She ripped off her shoe and thought to chunk it at him. Escalated? She just attacked him! Not like he gave her a chance to escalate any thing. But with a very exasperating exhale. She dropped her shoe and ripped off the other.
"He is not actually here is he?" she looked around before entering. She would rather not face the wrath of a Dragon today. Maybe yesterday or many days before.
She stood in the living room and glanced over to the old game board she was shown before. Arms crossed and a hardened expression. The place heavily smelled of cookies.

Rai would be taking off his own shoes and setting them beside the door, god Barker was such a mean maid if you made a mess.
"No, if Mathew were here he would have been outside before either of us could see him. He doesn't get surprised that easily."
Taking a whiff of cookies Rai's mouth watered. Then he heard that something Asiv grew was in them...
"Now... have you eaten on these yourself? Asiv does make some pretty phenomenal plants... however he also has made some quite... cruel ones. I would rather not fall victim to another one of Asiv's pranks..."

"The Dragon is correct, if Mathew were here I'm sure the lot of us would be neck deep in the yard being kicked in the face."
He said oddly cheerily.
"As for your question, yes. That's how I know they go good with chocolate, silly Blood Dragon."
