The Legend of Link! (Open)

[Link]

"AWESOME!"

Link would exclaim as he rushed off towards the main building for registration! He hurried off, specifically so that he could hurry back before anyone could leave! Bailey would note that he didn't actually have anything with him other than the clothes he was wearing (Mostly archery gear) and his bow, and a quiver with some arrows in it.

"Be right back please don't leave!"

[Valerian Blackburn]

Valerian almost doesn't even see Link run off.

Instead, he just stares.

"You're....uh...."

How to put this.

"...you look cold."

Perfect.

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey watches Link run off with next to nothing on him! She's worried he'll get lost, honestly, but at least it's not hard to miss the main office or get directions from someone inside.

She totally lets Valerian seal his own fate here, though she does listen in.

[Triton Augustus]

What a strange man... Triton's mind spoke unto itself.

Laughter stirred within his voice as he spoke, "I do not know why you perceive this to be true, tall man. I shiver not, nor do my bosom's teats harden. What fool could be chilled in such clime? Do we not both stand prey to the heat of the sun?" he inquired, reaching his hand outward as if to attain the sun and gazed onward to it. "I assure you friend," the blue islander proceeded, "I am not cold. It is true that these scales that shroud me provide little warmth, but the great star certainly does, giving no greater favor to you nor I. Thus, if you, my friend, feel the great rays of the orb, than as do I."

Surely, the man would understand. Should he not, he doubtless was daft.

Link would run into the main office and begin his registration process. After a few moments he finished the paperwork and was handed his information pamphlet as well as his room number. With jubilation he would shout out a rather loud.

"WHOOO-HOOOO!!!"

That the others could probably hear from where Link had left them. Then he would come charging back!

Valerian bites his lip, struggling not to burst out laughing at the mention of “hardening teats “. This is completely how he didn’t want this to go, because he had no intention of trying to point out how WEIRD this guy looked.

“That’s true... you have a good point...”

His roam around desperately, looking for inspiration to change the subject before he catches sight of the sprinting young man.

“Ah! Good! Link’s on his way back. How’d it go, buddy?”

This was suddenly painfully awkward. Bailey cleared her throat with a glance at Valerian, turning her attention to the blue-skinned princeling.

"I'm sure seeing someone from your home is a rare but honored moment for many," she tried to explain, thankfully interrupted by another burst of Link's energy that had her almost jump at the sudden sound. Almost. Blinky, Bailey turned her head to the sihgt of the young man, the small smile still in place.

"Welcome back."

[Triton Augustus]

Prior to Triton taking in the spoken words of the man to which he conversed, a scream from the small elf sounded from the structure that reached to the sky beside them. What sound from an meager bodied elf!" his mind's voice whispered.

Subsequently, the little one leapt from the threshold to them three. "Ah!" Triton called to him, "Little elf friend! Did your jaunt find you well?"

[Link]

"Hi! Thank you, it went well, I-"

Link would stop as he stared at Triton... Elf?

"I... I'm not an elf?"

But that wasn't enough to keep him distracted for long.

"I got signed up and my dorm room! Now all I need is a tour!"

He would say looking from one to the other to the other a huge smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes.

"You're not?"

Wait.

Maybe this is a trick...

"Me too. I'd love to be shown around a bit."

[Bailey Oleander]

Link sounded so certain of himself that Bailey was almost impressed. She bit the inside of her cheek and looked elsewhere as they all exchanged warm greetings and much excitement. She giggled softly as they spoke, nodding and turning her attention back to them when a tour was mentioned.

"I suppose that's me, then. They should have something they gave you with your room, Link. We can start there or end there. Whatever you'd all prefer."

[Triton Augustus]

Triton roared with laughter!

"MY FRIEND," an amused shout interfered with his words, "YOUR HUMOR FILLS MY BONES WITH MERRIMENT!" His laughter without haste left him as if sap from a great wood, signaling its end with the long breath that left his lungs thereafter.

"Now, my Elvin comrade," the hand of Triton thrust itself onto the green one's shoulder as a jest, "pray tell, what is this thing of which you speak? Tore..?"

Link would have frozen in place by confusion at Triton's words, had it not been for Triton's thrust to Link's shoulder spinning him almost completely around in place. The sudden change of scenery would distract him, again, from the elf comment.

"I- uhm- Oh! Tour!"

AND just like that Link spun himself back around and it was as if nothing happened.

"A tour! A trek around the Academy to take in the sights!"

He would look to Bailey.

"Yes, they gave me this!"

He would say handing her the piece of paper with his dorm assignment on it.

"I would like the tour to end there if you don't mind! That way I can just rest up for the day after we've taken in all the sights! Oh, and THANK YOU SO MUCH for offering to show us around! You're awesome!"

Man, this blue guy was terrifying.

Val just glances at Bailey as she gives her suggestion, before nodding along with Link.

"You have an amount of energy that just... I can't deal. Good for you, bud."

[Bailey Oleander]

She could already see the mishaps headed their way. the insistence, the high energy, the confidence, the snarky remarks and misunderstood accents. These three were going to do spectacularly. A small, wry smile tugged at Bailey's lips at the thought.

But so loud.

Taking the paper Link provided, Bailey looked over the information and nodded, returning it to the energetic blonde and nodding towards the dorm closest to the library. "That will be our last stop, then. Your dorm's next to the library and training grounds." She looked over at Valerian, who was still friendly, but sounded as dazed as she felt.

"Shall we?"
