[Bailey Oleander]

"I'm sure that will change. You're all still new, after all." Bailey gave an encouraging smile to the lot, almost sympathetc at Val's lament.

"You'll probably get a notice on your PT - teh communications device they have here. Some go looking for theirs if htey find out fist, though."

[Triton Augustus]

Hm... Triton's mind said unto itself, its interests peaked.

"Pray tell, woman, where such information might be gathered?"

"P... T... Is it this thing that they gave me at the office?"

Link would ask lifting the strange device that he had received.

"I have no idea how to use this thing..."

[Valerian Blackburn]

"Ah. That."

Valerian looks sheepish.

"I haven't looked at that since I got here."

[Bailey Oleander]

"My name is Bailey," she reminded the blue-skinned man who seemed as lost as the rest of them. "You can find them on devices given to you when you joined Cabal, or you could look in the system here, too." She would activate her own PT with a thought, used to the device she'd customized.

"You can access information from them, but they activate with your own energy signature. So Triton, say, coudln't use Val's if he found it. Nothing that was marked private woudl be viewable, but that's something you should find with ease." The glove glowed as she pulled up to list that had her own squad named and noted as both her and Blake being retired to give them an example of what to look for, then let the screen go idle.

"If you're having trouble with them, feel free to ask questions." Nodding, she would shut off the screen. "But besides your squads, do you have any questions or any sort of place in particular you'd like to see? I can make sure we sop by."

[Triton Augustus]

With wonder, Triton's gaze was transfixed on the device and its creation of lights and words.

"My... what feats man has achieved with its little machines! What witchery they employ! I did not believe I was in need of the trinket, but perhaps one shall serve me well!"

"Tell me comrades!" he declared, swinging around to face the man and elf. "What allies hath you upon been called to unite with? What do your devices tell you?"

Link would look in wonder as Bailey showed off her device, when she had finished her demonstration he immediately looked at his bewilderment. Studying the device before finally putting it on and activating it. He would then get lost in the device as if he was trying to learn each little nuance and secret the device held, quickly finding short-cuts and hot links. He started buzzing around with the device with such speed and wonder that to anyone looking on they might wonder if he was actually learning the device or just playing with a miniature disco ball. Needless to say, he would be thoroughly distracted until someone got his attention...

[Valerian Blackburn]

"I don't know."

Valerian answers Triton. To be fair, he was... hesitant to learn, after all.

"I'd like to see where the bar is, actually."

He asks Bailey, completely serious.

“I can help you learn the ropes later if you like,” she tried to assure Link. He looked so lost, but this wasn’t the time for what she imagined would be a lengthy lesson.

“It could be you aren’t assigned to anyone yet,” she reminded the three of them, laughing a little at Valerian’s question.

“Outside of campus, let I knew. There are a few of them further into the city with the rest of the shops and restauarens that are around.” Which was something that took getting used to when she first arrived. Welling out an existence with rocks and machines with little food did that.

[Triton Augustus]

Bars. Triton had been told of such places, but never had he entered one. From what his memory served him, he recalled they were some sort of tavern. In which case, his interest was small and had little room to dwindle, for the beverages mankind served in such places were varied, but, to his understanding, did not include water. Thus, he stood, fascinated by the skill the elf possessed and the trinket with which he tinkered.

"Yeah. Bar. Sure."

Was all Link would murmur as he continued to rapidly decipher this new unique device. This was fun!

[Valerian Blackburn]

"Well, that sounds like a great place for my tour to end."

Valerian laughs.

"Where else are we going?"

[Bailey Oleander]

"Sounds like you will be exploring outside the campus after we're done here then." Bailey nodded. "Anyone else?"

[Triton Augustus]

Triton stood in silence as he gazed at the elf's workings.

"How do you do such things, little elf?" The words slipped from his mouth in quiet utterances.

Link's eye would twitch as he rapidly fiddle with a few commands when Triton would receive a notification on his PT device. It would be a message saying, "I am NOT an Elf!" with an attachment, the attachment would be a link to a detailed description of Elves, along with pictures. Then he would look up to Bailey.

"Uhm, well, what's your favorite place to visit?"
