[Valerian Blackburn]

Valerian peeks over at Triton's PT in curiosity.

"Ooooooh. I had no idea elves had watches like these."

He's clearly joking.

....clearly.

[Bailey Oleander]

Her favorite places off the grounds were either sort of tainted or just...not good places to be. Bailey decided to stick to the more mundane ones, thinking back to the last time she'd had tea with the once in-house doctor.

"There's a cafe in town that's nice. You can find a few places, depending on what you like. Wooded areas, too." She's sort of assuming with Link since Val has Triton's attention and she's not sure what royalty from under the water would be interested in.

[Triton Augustus]

In a location far from where the party stood in his cave, a small device would alight, unbeknownst to Triton, with a message that he surely would see when the time came.


Meanwhile, Valerian brought heed to an observation that Triton had yet to let his mind look upon, but look upon it now he did.

"Valerian, my friend, I too was not aware that our Elvin friend's race possessed of such a machine. My confusion brought upon by his prowess in such a skill hath been furthered now that my thoughts are upon such a truth. But, no matter."

With his words now spoke, the islander would turn to the little woman. "Do you know of water bodies that may be found within proximity to us?"

Did... did she just make her own Elf joke?! Link gave up at this point.

"Wooded areas would be nice... I do like nature."

Then he heard Triton's comment and rolled his eyes.

"Water is also nice, if you want to take us somewhere the blueman would like to go."

[Valerian Blackburn]

“Look at that. It’s like we all have our own little settings that we’re good at. Water for the blue guy, woods for the elf...”

Valerian points at them in turn, then to himself.

“...and I guess bars for me.”

[Bailey Oleander]

"I suppose there's the pool, but if you want a natural body of water, you'd probably have to get to the coastline, or somewhere else the qi has affected the land. I'm not sure it would be much better for you, though." Bailey pursed her lips at the thought. Chlorine or qi infested water both sounded like they were off the list of possibilities.

Oh no she made him feel bad. Oh dear. She started to apologize to Link, but the other blonde seemed capable of keeping himself going.

"There are other places. It just depends on what you're looking for." She gave Val a reassuring smile.

"I think it means you're good in social situations instead of a type of location."

So much talking.

[Triton Augustus]

The woman did well to assume the elf was fond of the trees. Her intuition was confirmed by his response, as well.

Triton had heard this term pool to refer to bodies of water made by the mainlanders, yet never had he happened upon the foretold structure; he found deep basins made of the very rock they stood upon that seemed to once hold water, but no longer did it fill them.

Thrown aside were his thoughts, and he understood the party searched for their next destination. "The choice is yours comrades!" he boasted, applying his hand to their shoulders with his might. "I will gladly accompany you for any journey you choose, or, should you wish me to remain elsewhere, I shall retreat to my one true love. Whatever is your desire!"

Elation clothed him as robes whatever they so chose; he would either join his new allies in discovering a place known not to them, or he would return to the gracious embrace of the water. Their decision, to him, mattered not.

"Well, personally I could go for something to eat and drink!"

Gotta keep that energy up!

[Valerian Blackburn]

"Maybe. I like to think I'm good everywhere."

He winks at Bailey, before turning to look at the other two.

...this was a lot more touching than he was used to.

"I'm happy going for a drink, too."

[Bailey Oleander]

Bailey smiled at the wink, shaking her head as the boys seemed to have ideas of where they wanted to go now that the concern of what they needed was behind them. She wasn't a Commander anymore, or even technically part of the territory or its protectorates. Something she needed to get back to.

"It sounds like you have an idea of what you'd like, then." She gave them a polite smile and nod. "Unfortunately, I have a delegation to return to. Take care, and good luck."

[Triton Augustus]

"You have my thanks for your aid, Miss Bailey! May Poseidon bring upon you blessings amidst your travels!" Triton declared, reaching out his hand in salutations.

He would turn to the others at the close of their respective farewells. "Lead the way, friends."

Link would wave bye at Bailey.

"Bye! Thank you for the tour friend!"

Then he would turn to Valerian.

"Uhm... do you know where we can find food and drink here?"

[Valerian Blackburn]

"Thank you for your help."

Valerian chimes in as well.

"It sounds as if we should head to that cafe she talked about, the one that's in town. Maybe we'll get a chance to hook you boys up, hm?"

[Bailey Oleander]

"You're welcome." Her smile and nod were for all three of them as she stepped aside to let the boys continue exploring what they wanted to do with the day. Some of them more bright-eyed than others.

With a raised hand in farewell, Bailey headed back towards the main building on campus. The time for reminiscing was over.

[Triton Augustus]

The expression Triton held slowly turned to one of disgust. His fists tightened as his brows met.

"Hook us up? HOOK US UP?" Triton roared, his scales hardening

"YOU WISH TO PUT US ON HOOKS?"

The islander's nostrils flared, and he huffed as if a crocodile with open jaws. His fins began to unfold themselves, and should the Elf and man's perception treat them well, they would see he was preparing to strike.
