Mental Information

Personality: Expressive and determined, Ali is a driven individual who sets her sights high and doesn't let anyone tell her otherwise. Though she prefers to do things with her own two hands, she also understands that people need a helping hand or a push to realize their own potential. With a weak spot for the underdogs, she tends to come off as a decent person...unless you’re of the upper class. There’s almost a palpable disdain in the air around Ali for those who have things handed to them (or if she thinks that’s the case). Her temper has gotten her into trouble more than once, but she considers herself a decent person. After surviving her inner self, Ali has been reminded of her passion for life and what she believes in, making her more fierce against anyone who stands against those beliefs. Some of her 'good soldier' mentality has burned away.

The Journey Thus Far

Adopted as an orphan refugee when she was an infant, Allison has no memory of her birth parents or home. Taken in by a lower class family from Territory 260, she grew up following the orders and desires of others of those above her as a core part of her life. It became an almost monotonous routine in its own right, and she constantly dreamed of being and achieving more than what her family had.

While they struggled, the family always stayed together and learned to rely on one another. Even if everything else went wrong, they had each other, at least in theory. She had acquaintances among her peers and a few close friends, which changed when her powers developed. The manifestation caused a bit of a scandal (and some physical damage), erupting with her anger at a merchant daughter’s attitude and abuse. The debts had to be paid, but the end result was Ali’s attendance to the territory’s Academy of Magic. The chance to achieve her dream was finally at hand.

Dissatisfied with the fact that the social class lines seemed to be drawn even more distinctly, Ali refused to accept the usual low-standing expectation of being disposable on the front lines. She pushed herself to go farther and do more, locking herself away on weekends to study and practice when others went out to be with friends. She inspired others like her and drew the attention of those wit an interest for free labor and practice. Accepting an offer to intern for one of the lesser nobles, Allison slaved away in return for them pulling the necessary strings to get her accepted into Cabal Academy, something that came to pass when a certain Commander attended a social gala in her home territory.

Mana Manifestation

Qi Name: Battle Mage - Allison is able to manipulate her qi energy ("mana") by drawing it from the world around her and drawing it inward. By retaining that energy and expelling it outward, turning her hair white in the process and allowing her to increase her abilities.

Strengths: Ali's damage comes from the energy of the world around her, removing any elemental limits unless otherwise stated by the ability. It allows her some ability to aid those around her when support units are otherwise occupied.

Weaknesses: Ali is bound by her archetype in terms of damage. As a front-line fighter, most of her abilities are used in melee range, with nothing past mid-range.

Zero Ability: Manafication ("Kek") - Drawing on energy and channeling it into her weapon, Ali is able to add 1/2 her ENG to her attack.
Level One: Ali is now able to channel 3/4 of her ENG into her attack.
Level Two: Ali is now able to channel 100% of her ENG into her attack.

Ability #2: Inner Light ("Inner Istam") - Ali's experience on the field have taught her to bolster her defenses. She can add 100% her ENG to her defense. It takes the form of a translucent, illuminated column of light around her.

Ability #3: Life Trade - "Thunen Nish" - Allies in a 20-foot radius around Ali are healed for 1/4 her attack's damage.
Total Cost to Unlock: 20 (Qi upgrade used for unlock)
Upgrade: Ali's attack now heals for 1/2 of her attack's damage for allies in a 20-foot radius.

Ability #4: Ensnare - "Raztal" - Shaping the energy she channels around a target, Ali is able to bind an opponent's movement for a post. Can be broken if their ENG is higher than hers.

Ability #5: Conversion - "Vaarak" - With a jolt of energy, Ali can convert an incoming attack to any element she choose (Exception: this ability is not able to use/alter the dragon element).


Ability #6: Empower - "Vald" - Creating a sword of energy, Ali is able to draw in the energy of the world around her to increase all her stats by +6 for three posts.


Ability #7: World Gift - "Oram Egen" - Attuning her energy to the world around her, Ali is able to receive a boost from the different elements around her. Every different element type used on the field grants her +8 to all stats.

Ability #8: Sword Arm ("Dastot Tarmid") - Three curved blades, like a cat's claw, grow from Ali's bones and pierce through the skin of her forearm. These blades are retractable once used per thread, doubling her attack stat for this attack.

Bloodline Abilities

Spiral of Protection: With the red spiral Allison can currently make up to 1/2 her energy stat in people immune to status afflictions or negative effects.

Divine Element: While her Halo is on, Allison can imbue her weapons or Qi with an element of her choice. By passing any elemental resistance due to the nature of the Halo. This adds 1/2 her energy to whatever is imbued

Other Abilities

Gamble Fruit Effects:
-Ali can attack using the opponents Attack stat once per thread.
-Ali takes -18 dmg from Qi based sources
-Ali can cause allies within a 20ft field to gain regeneration.
-Ali does +18 dmg to 'Earth' and 'Fire' based targets

Keyblade: Blade of Truth - Ali's heart is filled with turmoil and disdain, but also love and compassion. Her life as a low class citizen has shaped the Blade of her Heart into a formidable weapon to help others. It's presence causes those weaker than her to gain +10 Atk, +10 Def. It also causes her support abilities to be cast for free for 3 rounds.

Inner Self: Once per thread, Ali can now shit to her inner self. This inner self has +10 in all stats for 4 posts and has the same personality it had when your character met them (and must be played as such!)

En Garde!: Ali can now enter a stance of a complete focus with her Rapier! She can stay in this mode as long as she stay's level headed and doesn't use ANY Qi abilities! The moment she uses Qi or gets upset, she immediately falters for a post and become vulnerable for a counter attack! While in En Garde! She gains +15% Eng to Atk per post that she is in this mode!
