Under Your Bed (Event)

Those around the streets, and the apartments would find this particular day felt... Suffocating, as if some force were pressing down on their chest to keep them from taking a full breath. Anxiety gripping the world as if in unison everyone could feel a flash of despair that would choke even the most melancholic. Could it be ptsd from the previous attack on the apartments, or something more sinister? Maybe you just have gas, who knows.

[Leif Adamson]

Leif stared at the pieces of apple she had cut earlier that day in the apartment, fighting the urge to gag. She was sitting in the grass, a ways away from the apartment building, contemplating... everything. She sighed, taking a bite of her apple and keeping tabs on what went on around her.

[Adelaide]

Adelaide was visiting again. Searching for clues from the previous incident that had happened there the other day...

[Avalon Salabim]

Avalon was avoiding returning to her apartment after visiting her brothers' in the complex. The day was heavy and oppressive, reminder her of her first year here after losing Preston. She figured it was just a bad day emotionally, reminders of the past flaring up again.

So she was hoping a walk would clear her head.

[Katsu]

Katsu smacks his chest, trying to relieve that tension.

Maybe the best thing to do was to go train outside.

He takes his katana and heads out of his apartment!

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei's with him as usual, feeling even weaker than usual.

She just hangs off his back.

"Ahhh, I'm tireeed."

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

“Ugh... Mexican food...” lucky most certainly felt like she has some kind of stomach bug either way it goes.

Up til now she has been sleeping on the floor next to the toilet in case she didn’t make it to the bowl to bow or pray in time.

[Atlas]

Atlas eyes popped open to a sudden suffocating sensation. What was this? He had never felt anything like it. He had heard of an attack that had occurred, could this be another one? That HE would be caught in?

Leaning against the wall, he focused all his muscles on just breathing. 

[Carson Addler]

Art had always been a consistent outlet for Carson anytime the weight of everything began to crush down on him. Clutching a can of spray paint, The young man attacked a bare brick wall with almost desperate sweeps of his hand.

The young man was sweating, his breath ragged as he fought against the constricting feeling in his chest.

[Zack Asiv]

All would notice the wind pick up as quick and harsh gusts seemingly coming from points of odd glowing orbs, very small but giving off a large amount of light. They were hovering meer feet off the ground before suddenly expanding, growing to a diameter of about eight feet, dark purple plasma jumping around as the gusts hit a new level threatening to push people off their feet, before everything became stagnant, and a growling noise would be heard from the orbs as they suddenly turned black, purple, and green like some toxic ooze.

Suddenly things would step through, growing from multiple mouths as they sniffed the air coming out in packs, these creatures stood at about four feet high from ground to shoulder.

[Adelaide]

Adelaide would cover her face and hold fast to the ground as the wind picked up and then again as the light got bright. Then she heard them before she saw them as the creatures stepped out of these... portals?

"What the hell now?!"

She huffed. Thankful that at least this time Shiloh wasn't here. Hopefully she was safe...

[Katsu]

"I know, Mei-Mei. We'll t-"

The portals cause Katsu to pause, and he immediately draws his katana, holding it defensively in front of himself.

He didn't know what these were, but they certainly didn't look friendly.

[Qi Yanmei]

If he hadn't cut himself off, Yanmei might have continued to be oblivious to the situation.

She raises her head and her eyes widen a bit.

"Oh dear, what are those?" she'd ask. She tries to sense Qi in them.

[Leif Adamson]

Leif looked up, her gaze sharpening as she caught sight of the creatures. A slow, almost sadistic smile began to spread across her face. Throwing the last piece of apple she had to one side, she stood up and held out one hand. Lightning danced between her fingers before forming into a long jian.

"Knew it."

She held her sword up before moving to strike the nearest enemy, aiming to sever the creature's multi-mouthed head from its body.

Zero Ability: She can create electrical-magnetic bladed weapons. The entire length of the weapon is sharp enough to cut. Each blade does 75% of her energy stat in damage.

Carson would curse as the winds picked up, forcing the young man to brace himself against it.
He eyed the toxic looking globes with suspicion, only to feel his heart drop into his guts as strange doglike creatures began to emerge.

Immediately the young man would look for a weapon to defend himself with.
