Katsu nods. However, even if he wanted to help the woman, he's far more concerned with the sheer amount of dogs heading for Yanmei.

"Leon."

He says flatly, and a Qi sprite appears, teleporting him in front of Yanmei. He starts swinging his sword in wide slashes, aiming to keep himself between the dogs and the winged woman.

Leon, The Lightning Strike

Leon can give Katsu the ability to fight beyond his limits, pushing through almost any injury, stat debuff's, or ailments. This gives Katsu 5 posts of full power combat no matter what before succumbing to effects.

If Katsu is fighting insurmountable odds. Outnumbered, over powered, or just overwhelmed, it drives the fighters spirit up. Leon can grant Katsu +15 to all his physical stats if the situation calls for it,

If Katsu needs to protect someone Leon can grant Katsu the ability to almost instantly move in front of the ally with +28 Def.

[Avalon Salabim]

Avalon felt confident in her assumption that the beasts hadn't made the portals themselves, as well as the ties that held them to the man cast in darkness. She squinted as she tried to get a better look at the dark figure, but if that failed, she would try to get a read off the qi that came from them and carried over into this world.

Then she cuts the connections off on the wolves in the area, ducking behind some form of cover in the direction that the wolves had run off in.

She's really trying not to think of what else she could see with these lenses right now...

Peering Lens (+14 PER, +8 ENG): The Peering lens is capable of seeing connections. Who is using abilities on who like buff's or debuff's. Avalon can then hijack these connections to gain the benefits herself or end them on others up to four times a thread. Avalon can also move connections between two targets. These connections appear like lines of color and Avalon can understand everything about the connections. Once per thread these lenses can also peer through the veil into any other dimension she is aware of.

"Oops?" she'd blink, flying upwards so she can remain out of reach! She didn't want to draw any MORE of them and cause Katsu more grief.

Julius raised an eyebrow at the wrench, and felt the tip of it. If it didn't cause pain, then he would slowly push his finger closer and closer to the portal, his finger going in it if nothing else stopped him.

Atlas slid his back up against the door of the pantry he had been thrown into, then spun and opened the door, using the door as a cover while he got down a bag of flour and ripped a hole in it.

He would spin out from behind the door to pour the flour into as many of the hound's mouths as he could.

[Carson Addler]

Moving to get some height on the demon dogs, Carson would make an attempt to leap upon them from above with a roar in his throat!
His length of Rebar held in both hands as he reared back in midair, aiming to drive the tip straight down through one of their bodies.

[Leif Adamson]

"Adelaide!" Leif shouted at the girl. She looked over to see the hounds in a daze and meshed her teeth together. She moved to fight at the girl's side. She held up her blade in a defensive position and took their moment of breathing room to look at the portals, trying to see if she could catch sight of anything other than the hounds.

"Two choices. We can kamikaze the fuck out of this and try to get to those portals, or we can hold our ground and defend ourselves. Your call." She spoke to Adelaide, before moving to try and decapitate the hounds the girl had stunned.

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

She was knocked on her ass as her arm halted her. From under her wraps she could see the peaks coming through threatening to rip from the sleeve. Despite how the sleeves themselves can protect against some of the Qi there was seemingly so much of it in the air right now that it mattered little. She stood and tried to pull against the resistance that forced her near.

“Hey! Anyone near, I need some help!” She shouted rather fearfully.

[Adelaide]

With her back to Leif and her bat out she grimace.

"Are we even sure the portals are where we want to be? I don't know about you, but I'm not too keen on being trapped on the other side where these things came from if those portals decide to close!"

[Zack Asiv]

As people were fending off the dogs and doing a decent job of holding them off before they all suddenly would freeze in place and then fall down. Unmoving besides breathing if anyone cared to check. The figure Avalon Salabim saw on the other side of the portal would step through now Revealed its self fully as the person looked around taking a breath and then spitting to the side in disgust.

"Hate it here."

Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan would feel whatever force holding her from running any further was gone for some reason.

Julius Kane would find it didn't cause pain to the touch, and when he put a finger in the portal he'd find he was standing in front of the portal with his finger in it. Nothing really going on at the moment.

[Leif Adamson]

Leif looked around as the dogs fell, cocking a brow. That... was strange. She moved from Adelaide's back to her side, grabbing ahold of her sleeve and nodding towards the person who made their way through the portal.

"I have a feeling our problems just grew. Exponentially. You ready for this?"

[Julius Kane]

Julius slowly stuck his head in the portal to look around!

[Atlas]

Atlas watched as the creature fell to the ground, alive but seemingly incapacitated. The flour that was meant for the creature's mouth fell to the ground where it once stood.

The curious student crouched down to his knees, scooped well little flour remained in the bag, and slowly poured it into the same mouth that ate the knife.

Lucky fell on her ass again and stopped to examine her wraps she took view of the shards on her skin.
