[Qi Yanmei]

With the dogs down, Yanmei would float back down to be near Katsu.

Well. Since no one else is addressing portal man.

"And who or what are you?"

[Adelaide]

Adelaide took two steps forward and aimed the bat at the guy.

"And who the FUCK are you?!"

[Avalon Salabim]

An experiment. Avalon tensed, torn between staying behind cover and stepping forward to address the man with everyone else. But they would hopefully have his attention since they greeted him.

She remains where she is, behind said cover, keeping an eye on the stranger for now.

[Carson Addler]

Carson approached the corpse of the dog he pounced on, pulling out his rebar rod with a sickening squelch.
"Huh. Ain't nothing too it I guess."
He muttered with self satisfaction before a distant noise caught his attention.

"Oh yeah, they were heading somewhere huh?"
He mused to himself.
"Guess I'll go check it out."

[Zack Asiv]

Julius Kane see's a land of black, the soil is all that remains with very little vegetation. The air is thick and smells of death making it hard to breath. Huge black Chains were connected to the earth and into the sky or maybe they came from below the surface it's not certain. The floor is covered by a somewhat translucent black fog that seems to drip upwards from time to time with droplets of black bubbles going into the sky.

Atlas would notice the dog was breathing in the flour and began involuntarily hacking and coughing as it filled it's lungs with the powder that absorbs moisture before eventually it began to vomit blood from every mouth and die from organ failure.

Qi Yanmei, and Adelaide would be met with a look of disgust.

"Gross... Locals... Hurry up and give me your Qi energy, what little, pathetic amounts you have."

The eyes on his armor would light up with magic circles before he smiled a bit and looked specifically at Yanmei.

"Ohhh, a Qi Sprite? Full grown? Your energy will have been worth the trip."

He begins to approach!

[Avalon Salabim]

Avalon remains hidden where she is, keeping an eye on the experiment and his glowing eyes. He hasn't seen her so far, so she's not keen on making herself known now.

She tenses, preparing to assist if the others need it!

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei looks alarmed at the amount of interest she's getting. Especially since he sensed her out as a Qi sprite so quick.

"Ahaha...! Me? No-no you said it yourself! It's such a pathetic amount! Maybe...try one of those dogs? They have...weird...energy."

[Katsu]

Absolutely not.

Katsu immediately sprints for the man, aiming to stab him through the stomach!

Leon, The Lightning Strike

Leon can give Katsu the ability to fight beyond his limits, pushing through almost any injury, stat debuff's, or ailments. This gives Katsu 5 posts of full power combat no matter what before succumbing to effects.

If Katsu is fighting insurmountable odds. Outnumbered, over powered, or just overwhelmed, it drives the fighters spirit up. Leon can grant Katsu +15 to all his physical stats if the situation calls for it,

If Katsu needs to protect someone Leon can grant Katsu the ability to almost instantly move in front of the ally with +28 Def.

[Leif Adamson]

Leif glanced at Yanmei and her eyes narrowed. She turned and bared her teeth at the Experiment, giving a fierce shake of her head. He wanted Qi. She didn't like the idea of this.

"Adelaide. Get him. You shouldn't have as much to worry about. I'm going to protect her."

With that, she ran to try to have Katsu's back. He was moving to stab the man, so she moved to step between the Experiment and Yanmei. "Stay behind me," she murmured, and felt lightning flash between her fingers. She could only hope she hadn't sent Adelaide on a suicide mission. A sword formed in her hand, and she held it up defensively, keeping her eyes on the man as Katsu approached him.

Zero Ability: She can create electrical-magnetic bladed weapons. The entire length of the weapon is sharp enough to cut. Each blade does 75% of her energy stat in damage.

[Adelaide]

"BET!"

She would respond to Leif as she charged forward bat in hand swinging duel handed to knock this man's head into the outfield!

[Zack Asiv]

As Katsu went for the stab a large skeletal hand would grasp the blade and halt it in place though with the amount of force it was thrust it would push the hand and the experiment back some. Before anything could be done between them in that position, Adelaide would slam her bat into a huge skeletal rib cage that formed around the experiment. The impact would hurl him back within the rib cage the hand releasing Katsu's sword.

The other arm and a head would appear along with the skeletal head with glowing red eyes. He'd begin laughing.

"WOW, hahahahaha, that is unexpected. Guess some of you are worth a damn."

He'd hold a hand out as the skeleton roared in silence pointing it at Katsu and Adelaide. Trying to egg them on.

[Adelaide]

Adelaide roared back at the skeleton thing and charged swinging her bat harder trying to break through!

Berserker Bat: +5 Attack, -2 Defense
A simple enough looking bat, with tiny, vein-like black lines running through it. As soon as she swings the bat the first time, she begins to lose control of herself and is overtaken by a bloodthirsty rage that dramatically increases her attack but lowers not only her defense, but her willingness to defend herself. The more she wields the bat, the stronger this effect is on her mind, until she loses herself to a Berserker like mode. The only thing that can free her from this is a strong, intrinsic trigger, or she drops the bat. (+50% Atk -25% Def per hit for 4 posts up to +200% Atk -100% Def)

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei would remain behind Leif, quite happy to stay away from someone who wants to EAT HER.

"Katsu is worth many damns!" she yells.

[Katsu]

Katsu pulls back as his sword is released, a grim frown forming on his face.

"Stay away from her."

He's very obviously flustered, but still somewhat wary, as protecting Yanmei took precedence over pressing the attack.

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

Lucky examined her arm realizing they were not growing anymore and tried to calm her breath. She looked around as her chest heaved and her heart pounded wondering what had sparked the growth. Know that she’ll know to stay the fuck away from it.

Maybe she should stop what ever force might have done this? Like how? Why? She didn’t really want to risk such dangers. Not when she finally reached a place where her body can be treated with usable and plentiful technology.
