Avalon frowns so hard. She uses her lenses to look at any lines of energy that might be between this experiment and his abilities, looking for a way to aid the others before he devoured the qi sprite in question.

If there are any, she'll cut them!

Peering Lens (+14 PER, +8 ENG): The Peering lens is capable of seeing connections. Who is using abilities on who like buff's or debuff's. Avalon can then hijack these connections to gain the benefits herself or end them on others up to four times a thread. Avalon can also move connections between two targets. These connections appear like lines of color and Avalon can understand everything about the connections. Once per thread these lenses can also peer through the veil into any other dimension she is aware of.

As Adelaide went for the attack immediately it left the guy little choice as a wave of dark wispy energy pulsed like a wave at Adelaide, Katsu, and Yanmei. Though as he didn't bother to react to the bat because of the skeleton and a few other control effects he needed with the pulse as his connection to those abilities was disconnected the skeleton would vanish and the bat would smack him right in the face.

The impact would whip his head back and he would slide for many feet backwards while staying on his feet before snapping his head upright again, blood oozing from his nose and mouth as a large bruise began to swell in the spot. He seemed angry now.

"WHO DID THAT?!"

He wasn't talking about Adelaide hitting him with a bat either.

Adelaide would feel something off about their body from the energy that hit her, like a burning in her core.

Katsu on the other hand... Katsu would hear a massive roar screaming and slashing at his mind. The sound would be deafening unable to hear the outside world, the pain would be crippling, unlike any he had felt before.

Yanmei has a chance to avoid the wave of energy.

Lucky's state of calm would help her see the place where she fell onto the ground, had crystals visibly growing on it. Before they began to burrow under ground!

[Katsu]

"Ngh!"

Katsu drops his sword, hands going to his ears as he falls to his knees!

He struggles to try and quiet whatever it was in his mind, unsure of exactly how since he'd never had to deal with something like this before.

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei would quickly avoid the energy wave, though she'd hurry to Katsu's side once it looked like he was struggling with something.

Even if she wasn't very physically strong, she'd risk it to make sure he wasn't attacked further.

"Katsu...what's wrong?!" she'd ask, grabbing his shoulders.

[Avalon Salabim]

Thank goodness for the girl wielding the bat. Avalon froze as the man felt the impact of what she did, a small sense of satisfaction in the back of her mind as she saw the skeletal armor vanish after cutting the energy to this experiment. Given he didn't seem to know where she was, the mage made sure she was fully behind cover as he was knocked back, not wanting to be seen due to carelessness.

It seemed he couldn't find her so long as she wasn't using or channeling qi. Good. She could work with that. Of the two lines of energy she had seen used, one felt potentially helpful in the situation, even if some of the others seemed to be struggling with something. She frowned, debating which target she should buff before deciding on the sword wielder.

She remains silent and alters the flow to boost Katsu rather than the experiment!

[Adelaide]

Adelaide would drop to the ground her hand clutching at her chest. She felt like she was burning inside.

"What... did you do to me?!"

She growled through grit teeth!

[Lucille "Lucky" O'Donnovan]

Lucky nearly leapt from her greasy overalls seeing herself surrounded by the crystals and watching them move. When they retracted she dug in the ground to see if they were seeded like as if she’d find a bigger chunk when she’d find them back home to use.

[Carson Addler]

"Ayyo what the Fuck!?!??!"
Carson swore under his breath as he finally neared the area the Demon dogs were moving towards.
What he found was sheer bedlam! A group of people around his age were fighting some dude with what looked like magic. Crystals and Bony hands and fireballs......

His face darkened as he realized what he was looking at. A gang of Qi users beating on each other.

Quickly he hid behind a group of dumpsters, confident that one false move would get him burnt to a crisp!
So which one of these freaks had a connection with the dogs? He looked down at the rebar rod with the tip soaked in dried gore.

Better question was, What the heck should he even do!?!?!?

[Zack Asiv]

Katsu's mind would be filled with rage and disgust as the roar finally became understandable in his mind.


"WEAK!!!"

A burning pain would erupt in Katsu's arms as his skin would boil with literal bubbles of flesh popping as ripping as monstrous clawed arms erupted painfully from under his skin.


"KILL!!!"

The monstrous voice would reverberate once more, except this time it would not only be in Katsu's mind it would be coming from his mouth.

(Katsu has unlocked the Monster Form power of the Land from Aurora. He no longer has control of his body for 3 posts and will focus hatred, rage, and disgust at anything he perceives as hostile to himself.)

Yanmei would feel the connection to Katsu falter momentarily and unable to use the Qi abilities she has! However, she can feel the Qi of others... like it's beckoning her.

Adelaide can now access her Zero level Qi abilities!

Lucky digging in the soil would feel instead a network of energy. As if through touching the berried crystals connected her to an extension of herself she was unaware of.

(Lucky can control crystals as long as she is in physical contact with them, growing, shaping, moving, even telekinetic movement. Lucky may create a new Qi branch based on this.)

Due to the chaos energy floating around when Avalon moved the buff she had focused it didn't go to Katsu, instead hit the closest available host. Carson... Immediately a burning sensation would hit his core before bone like armor grew over his skin and clothes like armor!

The experiment composed himself and placed a thumb against one nostril and blew a blood and snot rocket onto the ground next to him. Growling his red eyes would glow deeply as he scanned around trying to find what was toying with his abilities while the others seemed incapacitated... Well that was until he saw the effects of the chaos.

"That's more trouble than it's worth for now."

Looking to the portals he'd frown and then back to the recovering enemies... Unexpected circumstances were usually means to retreat and re-plan. So he'd begin to head to the portals.

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei would back away from Katsu, looking shocked as he both seemed to transform, and she, on the other hand, felt like her connection was lost to him. She couldn't access her powers either and she began to panic a bit.

A little bit on auto-pilot, Yanmei would gravitate towards the closest person whose Qi was calling to her.

[Katsu]

"KILL! TEAR! MAIM!"

!BeastKatsu roars, slashing its newfound claws at the closest person wielding a weapon.

Which... in this case, is apparently Adelaide!

[Adelaide]

Adelaide would see the man head towards a portal, currently oblivious to the other shit.

"Where the fuck you think you're going?! Mom stop him!"

With that a small Kyrie would appear! Two chains would come shooting out of the ground from either side of the man to wrap him up!

That's when Adelaide would here the sound of something large heading towards her! She turned to see a FUCKING MONSTER charging at her!!!

"Fuck!"

She would throw up her arms as the claws came at her! However she would feel a rush of... something inside of her erupt forward! And spikes made of darkness would shoot out from her arms!

Umbral Creations: Adelaide is able to user her Qi to manifest Dark energy, which she can use to create weapons and items. (+50% Eng to Atk)

Kyrie can give Adelaid access to two chains that can appear out of any object she can see within 20ft of herself which lash out up to four times per thread doing 150% of Adelaids energy in damage. Adelaid also gains +20 Energy while the chains are summoned. (Adelaids eyes turn gold when in use.)

Spikes = 55 Dmg

[Avalon Salabim]

Again, Avalon relied on her lenses to guide her vision to hat she needed to manipulate the man's qi. She wanted nothing more than to cut him off from his ability to use the portals; it meant they would have to worry about him coming through again. But this world didn't know or trust qi, which meant they could be sitting targets next time.

With the others gone or distracted, she had to try and stop him. Channeling her energy through the crystal she wore, Avalon felt her normal energies strengthen as she gripped rubbed her family's ring, aiming the disarming bolt at the experiment as he retreated and hopefully causing him to cease his fleeing!

Zero Level: Disruption Bolt - Avalon fires a bolt of electricity at her enemy that causes their muscles to spasm. Their hands to open up and offensive abilities to fizzle out for one post. Does 150% ENG in damage. Offensive Qi ability disruption nullified if the targets DEF is 50% higher than Avalon's ENG.

Focusing Crystal [ADD-ON] (+5 ENG): Once per thread, the character may focus a single Qi ability through the Crystal for a boost of 50% to effects. Should the user keep feeding Qi uses into the ability in following posts through the crystal the boost will remain. However once the focus is no longer channeled through the crystal (IE a break in concentration, loss of focus, or the Qi flow is halted for any reason), the effect is lost. (Using on Disruption Bolt)

Salabim Family Ring (ADD-ON) - The ring marks you as a noble of Ayatlan. This grants you new RP status among NPCs and QCs. Once per thread, you may rub the sigil and increase the output of any one qi or item ability by +16. You may target someone else with this, or yourself.

Tome of a Noble Heart (+6 ENG, +3 SPD, +3 PER): A Tome where the spells of someone with a noble heart are kept. When standing up for others or what they believe is right spells conjured through the Tome of a Noble Heart all add +20 to damage calculations.

Enemy's DEF must be 100% or higher than Avalon's ENG.

“They’re everywhere...” she looked far off seeing everything and started to giggle in a bit of nervousness and excitement... only for it to halt in realization. “Wait we have electricity now. Still... wholly shot in the dark. I need to run tests and tinker with stuff.”

[Leif Adamson]

Leif followed after Yanmei as she ran to Katsu, cursing under her breath. She hissed slightly as the Beast Katsu thing roared, giving a fierce shake of her head from side to side. She moved to try to grab the Qi sprite... fairy... thing... Yanmei around the waist, to try to pull her away from Katsu.

"Get to safety, first. We will worry about him once he calms down. He'll be more upset if you're hurt in the meanwhile!" She said, keeping her sword in one hand, ready to defend.
